Every family always has a secret, and the Araneta Family isn't an exception. How could they give proper foundation to their family if they're built up on lies? What would happen if someone finds out?
Would that still break an already broken family?
Irene sat in front of her mirror, looking at herself wearing her white dress that was made by her designer friend, Peter.
She couldn't wear her wedding dress as it was too big for their renewal of vows. On the other room, Greggy was talking to Luis, giving him a white paper bag with a silver ribbon tied.
"Give this to your mother... Tell her to open it when she's alone doon..." He instructed and Luis nodded, "I'll give her this now?" He asked.
Greggy nodded, "Yeah, pero sabihin mo na buksan niya lang pag mag-isa lang siya." He repeated and Luis took the paper bag from his father's grip and went to the room that his mother was staying.
"Ma." He knocked on the door. A few more knocks and it swung opened, "Yes?" She smiled.
"Dad wants to give you this..." Luis smiled, "Open it when you're alone daw..." He told her what his dad told him.
"Oh... Ano to?" She furrowed her eyebrows, "Don't know..." He shrugged as he gave her the bag, "Baka Anniversary Gift?" He chuckled.
Irene nodded slowly and smiled at Luis, "Okay... Thank you, love." Irene kissed his forehead, "Walang lipstick." She chuckled and knew that her sons didn't like the stain of lipstick on their forehead.
"Happy Anniversary, Mum." Luis smiled and hugged his mother. "Thank you, love..." She stroked his back and pulled back. "Sige na, I'll open this while we're waiting for Manang's call."
Luis nodded, "Nasa baba lang kami." He informed. And before his mother could close the door, he held it with his hand and poked his head to get his mother's attention.
"And Mum?" He grinned. "You look beautiful."
"Sus! Bola!" Irene laughed and shook her head to her son, Luis just laughed with her and bid goodbye as he went away.
As Irene closed and locked the door, she went to the bed and began to untie the ribbon of the paper bag. "Ano kaya 'to..." She whispered to herself as she laid down the ribbon on her side.
She took out the envelope and white square box from the bag, placing the bag out of the way. The box doesn't have any label, it was just a plain one.
She pulled the little gold ribbon and saw the bangle. A gasp was released from her mouth as she noticed the bangle and her ring on her finger was the same.
She had three rings on her left finger and it all resembled to the bangle in front of her. She then placed it at the side and opened the envelope that came with the bag. She slipped the paper out and unfolded the creases.

"My love,
I have always been someone who looked up to you. For your patience, your love, your understanding, and just about everything about you. We have been through so much that costed out marriage and our family. But I'm glad that is all over and now we get to have the time we wasted.
