Third Person

Morning came and the sun rays went through the glass doors of the balcony, lighting up the faces of the figures tangled in the sheets and with each other.

Irene's eyes fluttered open as the rays of the sun touched her eyes, her body felt heavy and her eyes trailed on to her waist and an arm was looping around her.

Her eyes widened to see that Greggy was beside her, her arm rested on his chest. She felt her breathe getting heavy, so she carefully and softly lifted his arm from her waist.

Greggy groaned and pulled her closer and mumbled something quite inaudible to her. "What?" She asked.

"I...miss..." He mumbled, Irene frowned at this and sighed. She tried to lift his arm again slipped off from his touch.

I miss you too... She thought to herself and changed into better clothes. She then quietly went outside of the room and jumped in surprise when Alfonso was behind her.

"Diyos ko!" Her eyes closed and her hand rested on her chest. Alfonso chuckled, "Kalma, Ma..."

Irene slapped her oldest son's arm lightly, "Ano ba!" She chuckled. "Where's Dad?" He asked his mother.

She pointed inside, "Nasa loob... Natutulog pa..." She said as they both walked downstairs. "Si Andy?" She asked.

"Asleep." He quickly responded and looked at his mother, "Yana told Luis and I that you and Dad were sleeping beside each other... May plano bang magka-balikan ma?" Alfy slyly smirked.

"Don't even start there, Alfy..." She said as they took a right turn to the kitchen where Yana was seen eating with Imee. When Yana saw her mother, a grin formed on her mouth.

"Good morning, Mommy!" She greeted, Irene smiled at her daughter and went towards her to kiss her forehead. "Good morning, love..." She greeted back.

"Today we'll visit Fort Ilocandia..." Yana pulled back from the embrace and smiled at her mother. "Where you both had your wedding reception... I might be choosing it to be the venue sa party..." She smiled.

"Hmmm, okay okay..." Irene nodded at her, "So what's for breakfast?"

"Gorio, punta daw tayo sa Fort Ilocandia mamaya..." Irene informed him as she looked for something to wear.

Greggy then looked at her as he fixed his tie, "I'm afraid I can't go with you, Rin..." He stopped what he was doing and looked at her.

Her eyebrows furrowed, "Bakit?" She asked.

"May pupuntuhan akong urgent meet up sa representative ng new client. She'll be giving me the documents daw..." He pressed his lips together and gulped down.

"Okay..." She nodded and went back in finding something to wear. He sighed at the passive aggressiveness and continued to get his blazer.

"Alis na ako..." He informed. "You don't have to tell me... Hindi mo naman ako asawa... Inform your daughter." She bantered while made Greggy sigh.

"Correction, mag-asawa pa tayo. I never signed the papers." He hardened his jaw.

She looked at him with her furrowed eyebrows, "Then sign it, Gorio." She countered.

"Ayaw ko. Why can't you put that in your head na ayaw ko." He shut his eyes off. "Then don't! Pag-aawayan nanaman natin yan!" She exclaimed.
