She climbed out of the car, carrying the big basket on her right. "Ron... Will message you lang ha pag magpapasundo ako or hindi..." She said as the windows rolled when she tapped on it.

Ron only smiled and nodded, "Sige po, ma'am. Good luck po sa inyo..."

Irene then walked towards the entrance of the building, the guard saw her and smiled, "Good Afternoon, Madam! Napadaan po kayo?" He greeted.

"Dadalawin ko sana si Gorio... Nandun pa naman diba?" She asked him. The guard nodded, "Poy!" He called someone, "Madam, si Poy na po maghahatid sa inyo dun... Para na rin may magdadala sa basket na yan, mukhang mabigat..." He offered help.

Irene's lips curved up, "Sige, thank you so much." She thanked and gave the basket to Poy, another security guard.

As they passed through the walls of the building, pleasant greetings and smiled came to her. They went inside the elevator and she tapped in the button where Greggy's office resides.

"Poy... Ako na lang... Thank you, ah..." She turned to the guard next to her as the elevator doors opened. "Sige po, Madam." He smiled and gave her the basket, holding the button of the elevator where it hinders from closing the doors.

She took a deep breath and quietly take each step towards his office. As she got closer, the distant chatter from inside his office got more audible to her.

"That's what I'm always trying to say. Ano nga ang magandang gawin para diyan? Lahat ng proposals na pinasa natin hindi naman tinatanggap!" She heard her husband say.

"Sir, with all due respect po, his reasons of withdrawing was because of the financial proposal." She heard another voice inside.

She frowned at the conversation and decided to knock of the frosted glass door. "Sino yan?" She heard him say.

Her hand delicately held the handle and pushed it to poke her head inside.

"Madam..." The 4 employees inside stood up and greeted her. Irene looked at them and smiled before turning to her husband.

"Matagal pa ba kayo?" She asked, on her peripheral view, she saw the employees throwing looks at each other. Greggy sighed and looked Irene, "Patapos na."

"Sige, sa labas na lang ako maghihintay..." She gave him a small smile, turned her head to the employees to nod once at them, before going out of the office to sit down on the waiting bench outside.

She placed the basket beside her and sighed as she checked on the contents, she hoped the filet would still be steamy as it wouldn't be that tender if it wasn't.

She fished for her phone and saw a message from her children on their 'group chat'.
