Yellow exited her fifth-period class, feeling really tired. She closed the door to her classroom behind her, since she was the last to leave.
"Yellow! Over here!" Shouted a voice. Yellow looked up and saw Sapphire waving to her. She was standing with Platinum and a guy Yellow couldn't recognize. Yellow sighed and walked to them.
"Hey, guys!" Yellow said.
"Hi!" They all said.
"Who is he?" Yellow asked, pointing to the boy she hasn't seen before.
Sapphire grinned, and looked up at him. "His name is Ruby! He is my boyfriend!" She said, putting her head on his chest and her hands around his waist.
"Its nice to meet you!" Yellow said.
"It's nice you meet you too," Ruby said in a drowsy tone.
"He was watching anime all night." Dawn whispered to Yellow.
"So... How is your first day of school going so far~?" Sapphire asked.
"Uhm..." Yellow hesitated. "It's been pretty eventful," She said.
"Eventful?" Platinum said, pushing Yellow to talk more.
"Yeah, do you guys know Red?" Yellow asked.
"Oh, him?" Platinum said. "Yeah, I guess... Though we haven't ever spoke to him..."
"He is kind of a loser," Sapphire said.
"What?" Yellow said, taken aback from Sapphire's comment.
"Hush, Sapphire! Don't talk about people like that!" Platinum said, placing her hands on her hips.
Sapphire rolled her eyes. "You were just talking about that guy named Green like that before Yellow came over!"
Platinum crossed her arms and looked at the ground.
"Who's Green?" Yellow asked, hoping to break the silence.
Platinum looked up from the ground, and looked down the hall. She pointed to a couple making out near the lockers. "That guy, over there." She said.
Sapphire nodded. "Yep. He is the playboy and the bully of the school." She said. "I heard he got suspended twice!"
"Actually it was three times." Ruby corrected her.
Sapphire ignored her boyfriend. "And the girl he is kissing over there, she is the playgirl of the school." Sapphire snickered. "It's honestly amusing to watch the playgirl and playboy make out."
"Wow..." Yellow said. "I think I recognize him..."
"Okay, anyway," Platinum said. "Sapphire, are you going to come to cheer practice today?"
Yellow's shoulders slumped as she listened to the two girls and their boring conversation. Yellow looked over to where Green was. He was pretty attractive, and the other girl he was with was attractive, too. He fits the popular mean kid stereotype, which made Yellow crack up a bit.
Yellow then saw Red at his locker. He didn't have his eye patch on, but she saw it in his pocket.
"Hey guys, I need to go." Yellow said, waving to the three before she left to talk to Red.
"Red!" Yellow said, walking up to her friend. "Are you feeling better?"
Red looked down at Yellow. "Yeah, the ice seemed to help it a bit." He replied. Red closed and locked his locker, then looked back at Yellow. "I saw you hanging out with Platinum and her friends." He said.
"Yeah, they are kind of nice, but Sapphire said you were a loser." Yellow said, looking at the ground.
"Couldn't you already tell? I thought it was obvious I was a loser." Red said.
"I don't really think of you as a loser," Yellow replied, smiling.
Red smiled back. "They are a really popular group. They all know the gossip around the school. They know everybody, and Platinum's family is really rich, so she hosts parties every other weekend."
"Wow..." Yellow said. Yellow never thought of herself to be the type of person that would hang out with popular kids.
"Yeah, but I heard they are nice. I never really talked to any of them before." Red said, checking his watch. "Hey, you will walk with me after school, right?" He asked.
"Yeah! I have no idea which way to go, anyway..." Yellow said, scratching the back of her head.
Red smiled. "Alright! The bell is going to ring soon, so I'll see you after school!" He said, waving to Yellow as he walked to his class.
"Bye!" Yellow said, waving back to her friend as she walked to her class.
