After the awkward incident at Red's house, Yellow had so many things on her mind. She barely got any sleep from her thoughts. From what Yellow remembered, she dropped Red's coat by his door and ran out of the house. That probably was not the best reaction... But like what Yellow's mom says, you cannot change the past, but you can change the future.

Yellow thought of this day to be a good day to separate herself from her worries and to go out to the city. Blue invited her to go out to Saffron City for the day after Yellow texted her about what happened.

So here Yellow was, sitting in a bus with Blue, heading to Saffron City.

"Have you been to Saffron City before?" Blue asked.

Yellow looked away from the window and looked to Blue. "No, I haven't."

Blue nodded. "Sorry, I forgot you were new to Kanto. But let me tell you this. Saffron City has some of the best food to offer!"

Yellow grinned. The sound of good food was great. Yellow hasn't recalled eating food in public for a long time.

The bus stopped, and Blue stood up in the isle, so Yellow did too. The two walked out of the bus and watched the bus drive away. Yellow sat on the bench of the bus stop, tapping her foot while Blue was on her phone, doing something on Coogle maps.

"Alright, I got it!" Blue said, putting her phone into her pocket. "It's around twenty minutes by walking."

"Sounds good!" Yellow said, standing up from the bench. "Where are we going?"

"You'll see."

"Come on... Can't you tell me?"

"It's a surprise!"

Yellow pouted, but stayed silent, until what happened last night came back to her head. She already talked to Blue about it, leaving out details... Yellow knew Blue was the only person she could tell, though. Platinum and Sapphire both have big mouths, and it felt wrong for Yellow to tell Red's mom or even her own.

"Uh... About last night..." Yellow said.

"Yeah?" Blue said.

"Are you like, are you mad?" Yellow asked, looking at her blue-eyed friend.

Blue thought for a moment. "Why would I be mad at Green? We both just dated for popularity... I think. I don't know what he felt, but I don't care. I got many friends out of it."

Yellow slowly nodded. "That's kinda cruel, isn't it? Getting friends out of someone you are playing?"

Blue shook her head. "We were playing eachother. It's different."

Yellow rolled her eyes, and they both laughed. Who knew someone who used to be mean to you less than a week ago could be so nice to you?

Blue checked her phone again. "We just turn here, and we will be there!" She said, smiling.

Yellow smiled back. "Alright."

The two took a turn around the street, and Yellow was greeted with a friendly-looking stand with a man who had a Pokemon with him Yellow couldn't recognize at all. The banner on the stand read Castellia Cones.

"Come on!" Blue said. "These are really good, trust me." She said, walking up to the stand with Yellow.

"Hello!" Said the man at the stand. "We serve Castellia cones! Our business comes all the way from the Unova region itself!" The man paused. "Now, what would you two like to get?"

"Uh..." Yellow watched Blue's eyes scan the banner. "Two small cones, please!"

"Alright! That's 500 Pokedollars."

Blue handed the man the payment, and the man handed Yellow and Blue two small, delicious and sweet cones back. Blue handed one of them to Yellow.

Yellow thanked Blue, and the two walked away from the stand and found a bench to sit at. They both ate in awkward silence.

"So..." Blue said. "How is it?"

"How is what?"

"I don't know... Just the experience, in general."

"Uh... The Castellia Cone is amazing! I wish there are more places that serve amazing food like this." Yellow paused to take another lick from her cone. "Saffron City is nice, too."

Blue smiled at Yellow. "That's great to hear! There are so many cool places in Kanto..."

Yellow nodded, and the two continued to eat in silence again.
