Yellow woke up in Blue's bed. Did she really fall asleep in Blue's house? Yellow remembered chatting all night with Blue, but nothing else.
Blue woke up on the very edge of her bed. Yellow just realized she was there, both of them sleeping in the same bed.
Blue shot up, sitting up straight. "Oh crap, what happened last night??" She said, looking at Yellow, then to her crotch. "I don't have any cramps down there... Thank fucking god..."
"What?" Yellow said, confused about the big deal Blue was making.
"Uh..." Blue's face turned pink. "It's nothing."
Yellow sighed. "Alright, but no swearing." She said.
Blue rolled her eyes and smiled. "Fine..."
. . .
(I apologize for skipping the entire school day)
While Yellow was walking out of the locker rooms from track, Platinum stopped her, holding a envelope of some sort.
"Yellow! Wait!" Platinum said. "Here, it's an invite to a party I'm having tonight at my place. Don't worry, the invite has my address!"
Yellow hesitated, and took the invite from Platinum's hand. "Thanks!" She said, giving Platinum a smile.
As Platinum walked away, Yellow gripped the piece of paper in her hand.
Did I actually just get invited to a party? She thought. Yellow hasn't been to many parties. Especially not a party that a rich person is hosting. Though come to think of it, Yellow hasn't generally been a party person. But she will go for Platinum.
Yellow ran to catch up with Red, who was walking alone. He didn't go watch Yellow's track meeting because he said Ruby needed him for yearbook club, while made Yellow very happy.
"Red! Did you get a party invite from Platinum?" Yellow asked.
"Yeah, I did. I think many people did in the school, in fact." Red said.
"Great! Are you coming to the party, though?" Yellow said. She knew people get party invites and don't go to the party.
"Yeah, as long as you are coming." Red said, scratching the back of his neck. "I was never a fan of parties..."
"Me neither!" Yellow said.
They both laughed.
. . .
Once Red and Yellow arrived to the party, Yellow was taken aback by how many people there were. There weren't as many Yellow expected there to be. By the expression on Red's face, she could tell he was thinking the same thing.
"Ah, well." Yellow said. "I'm going to talk to Platinum. Do you wanna come?"
"Uh... I'll wait for Green to come, you can go on."
"Alright."
Yellow walked over to where she guessed Platinum was, a big crowd of kids surrounding her. Yellow pushed through the crowd -something she has gotten really good at- and she found Platinum. Platinum wore a very nice dress, which made Yellow feel a little embarrassed, wearing only a white crop top with a black undershirt and jeans.
"Hey, Platinum!" Yellow said, grinning at her friend.
"Hello!" Platinum said. One kid came over to her and whispered something in her ear, which made Platinum grin.
Platinum looked away from Yellow and shouted. "Everyone get ready to play spin the bottle!!"
Yellow felt panic arise in her stomach and chest. She has never planned in her life to play spin the bottle... She knew she could skip, but then she would appear as a wimp, right?
Everybody sat down in a large circle. Yellow recognized some kids from school, like White, who was in her science class. And Gold, who always sat near the table Yellow sits at in lunch.
Yellow sat next to Red, and the both looked at eachother. Yellow could tell Red was nervous like she was.
It was awkwardly silent for a moment, with only the music making noise.
(I'm going to tweak the rules a bit. When someone spins and it lands on someone, the person they landed on gets the turn, not the person they sit next to. If someone skips, the turn does go to the person next to them).
"Uh..." Platinum said, not thinking of what she was going to do. "I'll go first, I guess!" She said, going onto her knees so she could reach the bottle in the center of the circle. She spun it, and there was a long moment of silence when the bottle spun.
The bottle landed on Diamond, and there were many whispers and murmurs going around in the circle.
Platinum leaned toward Diamond and gave him a peck on the lips. Yellow shivered, picturing if she had to do that. Platinum leaned back and sat down, both of them blushing a little bit. Yellow tried not to crack up seeing Pearl's expression.
"Diamond, you go next, then!" Someone said, since Diamond was still sitting there.
Diamond spun the bottle, and it landed on Pearl. Fate that was. Yellow saw the relief on Diamond's face. The two kissed, and Pearl said he will skip. Yellow couldn't hold it in, and laughed.
"What??" Pearl said. "Do you think I'm a wimp for skipping?"
Yellow continued laughing. She couldn't take him seriously.
"Come on, take me on shorite!" Pearl said.
"Hey! Don't you dare hit her!" Red said. He was taller than Pearl, so Pearl knew to back off.
Pearl sighed, and the turn went to the person next to him, White, from Yellow's science class. She spun the bottle, and it landed on Black. White went across the circle and kissed him a little longer than everyone else did, leaving him as a flustered mess.
"I'll skip." He said.
The next turn went to Blue, so she spun the bottle. The bottle landed on Yellow, making Yellow feel like she was choking on air. Blue leaned towards Yellow and kissed her, and Yellow felt surprised, as if she enjoyed it. Blue went back to her seat, and Yellow saw a little bit of pink on her face. Yellow knew she had some, too.
After playing spin the bottle, Platinum requested for dancing music, so everyone can dance before the party ends.
Yellow had to admit, she was enjoying the party. Maybe Yellow is a party person... Or it was just that she was partying with people she knows.
"Alright, everybody! Pick your partners to dance with!!" Platinum said, which made Yellow just regret what she was thinking. She forgot about the dancing part.
Suddenly, Blue walked up to her, her pink face more noticeable. She held out a hand to Yellow. "Care to dance...?" She said.
