"What??" Blue said. "Why would I do that??"

Yellow smiled. "Your boyfriend is an absolute jerk to my best friend. He deserves it."

Blue sighed. "Well I would have expected something worse from you. But I'll do it. Tomorrow morning."

Yellow nodded, satisfied. "What did you think I was going to say?"

"I don't know... Maybe to make me actually pay attention in class?"

Yellow laughed. "I'm not that mean!"

Blue smiled a bit. "Anyways, who's house would you like to go to?"

Yellow thought for a moment. Her mom was really embarrassing, and she probably wouldn't want Blue to see her. "We can go to your house." She said. "I just need to text Red first."

"Alright, I'll meet you outside the school, then." Blue said.

"Okay." Yellow said as she pulled out her phone and quickly texted Red. Yellow sighed as she put her phone back into her backpack after she finished texting Red. She felt slightly guilty for letting him walk to Pallet Town alone, but Yellow would feel guilty for saying no to Blue.

Why would I feel guilty? Blue was a jerk to me... Yellow thought as she walked outside to meet Blue.

Blue saw Yellow, and she started walking. Yellow caught up to her. "Where exactly do you live?" Yellow asked. Did she live in Pallet Town, too?

"Pallet Town." Blue said.

Yellow's eyes lit up. "I live there too!" Yellow said.

Blue nodded, and looked straight ahead at the path. An awkward aura flared around the two.

Yellow thought about Red again. The three of them could have just walked together to Pallet Town! If only Yellow could have known earlier about Blue's whereabouts.

.  .  .

After an awfully long walk of silence, the two girls finally made it to Pallet Town. They took a left turn, and arrived at a cute one-story house.

"This is it." Blue said, opening the door for Yellow, and walking in after her. They both took off their shoes at the door.

"This is a really nice house, Blue!" Yellow said, looking around. She turned around and looked at Blue. "Are you parents home?"

Blue shook her head. "Nope. Only my, uh... Brother. I am not too sure, though. He may have gone out with friends or something."

Yellow nodded. "Oh, that's cool."

This feels like we are walking all over again... Awkwardness...

"Over here, I'll show you to my room." Blue said, walking down a hallway with three doors.

Blue opened one of the three doors, closest to the entrance of the hallway. Blue's room was in the middle of clean and tidy. There was a twin-sized bed that was not-so-neatly made, and many bookshelves with manga that Yellow recognized.

Yellow walked over to the bookshelves and crouched down to look at all the books Blue owned. "Wow! You like to read?" She asked, turning her head so she could read the spines of the books.

"Yeah, kinda." Blue said. She hauled her backpack inside of her bedroom and took out a notebook.

Yellow walked over to the carpet Blue sat on, and Yellow sat across from her, watching Blue open her notebook. It was the type of notebook that had folders in it.

Blue took out seven pieces of paper from the folder. They all looked to be math homework.

"Is that... Your homework?" Yellow asked.

Blue nodded. "Yup, most of them I haven't turned in for a while. The only recent one I have gotten from my math teacher. You know Mrs. Magnolia, right? She never notices when I turn in my homework or not." Blue smiled.

Yellow nodded. "Mrs. Magnolia? I take advanced... So I don't think I have her."

"Oh..."

"Yeah."

There was another awkward silence between the two.

Yellow broke the silence. "Anyway, which one should we do first?"

"How 'bout this one?" Blue said, holding one of her homework sheets.

"Alright."

.  .  .

Yellow slipped her shoes back on at Blue's front door. It took a lot of explaining and time, but Yellow was able to help Blue get through her seven over-due homework sheets.

Yellow turned around to Blue and waved as she opened the door and walked out.

"Bye!" Yellow said.

"Bye!" Blue said back, turning around as Yellow closed the door.

Once Yellow closed the door, she let out a big sigh. She felt a huge feeling of accomplishment inside of her. It felt good.
