"Sapphire! Aren't those two boys over there cute??" Platinum said, looking at two guys near the three friends.
"Diamond and Pearl? I think they're dating..." Sapphire said, scrolling through twitter on her phone.
Platinum rolled her eyes and looked at Yellow. "So... Yellow, has anybody caught your eye? You have been at this school for almost two weeks, now."
Yellow thought for a moment. She hasn't crushed on anybody since she has been at this school. Maybe that blue-eyed girl was a little cute, but she was a jerk.
"I haven't crushed on anybody here yet..." Yellow said awkwardly.
Platinum nodded, and Sapphire looked up from her phone to Yellow. "What about Red? I thought I saw some chemistry between you two." Sapphire said.
"Ooh~ I ship it!" Platinum said.
"What?! I don't like him that way... We are just friends." Yellow said.
"That's way they all say!" Platinum said, with Sapphire nodding, her eyes glued to her phone.
Yellow saw Platinum look over at the two boys - Diamond and Pearl? - again. Yellow smiled at her boy-obsessed friend.
"Hey guys, I'm gonna go talk to those boys, see you!" Platinum said, walking over to Diamond and Pearl, completely ditching Yellow and Sapphire.
Sapphire looked up from her phone and saw Ruby. She looked at Yellow. "Sorry, Yellow. I'm going to go hang out with Ruby!"
And there she went, running off to her boyfriend.
I really need a partner. Yellow thought as she walked off to her next class alone.
. . .
Yellow sat in her history class. They were learning about the war that took place in Kalos, and Yellow found it very intriguing. But it didn't seem like anybody else thought so.
All the other kids in Yellow's class were jerks or idiots, or maybe a combination of both.
Maybe her class was rowdy because it was at the end of the day... Yellow didn't know, and she didn't care. She still got the best grade she could get in this class, and that was all that mattered to her.
"Psst." Said a voice from behind Yellow.
Yellow turned around. "What?" She whispered to the blue-eyed girl who was sitting behind her. What a bother. "I am trying to focus."
The blue-eyed girl rolled her eyes. "In this boring subject? Come on. Even math is better." She said in the middle of chewing gum.
"Don't bother me, ok?" Yellow said, about to turn around when the teacher noticed their conversation.
"Yellow! Blue! Detention for talking during class!"
"Yes, ma'am." Both Yellow and Blue said in unison.
Yellow turned around one last time and gave the blue-eyed girl -Blue- a harsh glare, but Blue just smirked. Yellow turned around and sighed. She wasn't that intimidating, was she?
. . .
"So, how was your day?" Red said as soon as he saw Yellow walk out of the school doors. He was waiting for her detention to end.
"It wasn't that bad... Platinum found two boys that she is crushing over again... And I got into detention... Again."
Red looked somewhat surprised. "Really? Again?"
"Yeah, but it's not my fault! It's that dumb girl named Blue's fault!"
Red nodded. "That sucks... She is the troublemaker of the school, after all."
"Yeah..." Yellow paused. "Anyway, thanks for waiting for me after school!"
Red grinned. "It's no problem! I have track, so I didn't have to wait out here for an hour."
"Wow! You like to run?" Yellow said.
"Yeah... I had to stop after I broke my leg, but now I can run again." Red said.
Yellow nodded sympathetically. She once broke her arm, and she couldn't do many things she loved. "How did you break your leg?"
"It's probably best to not talk about it now." Red said.
"That's fine."
. . .
Yellow finished another day of school and was about to walk out, when somebody grabbed her shoulder, making Yellow flinch.
"Hey!" Said a familiar voice.
Yellow turned around. It was the blue-eyed girl, which she now knew was Blue. "What do you want?" Yellow said.
"Uh... I need help." Blue said.
Yellow was surprised. She never heard Blue's voice like this... It didn't sound mean. It sounded more... Normal?
"...Help with what?" Yellow asked, sounding a little hesitant.
"Uh... I have some homework I need to finish, but I don't know how to do it." Blue said, looking down. She must be embarrassed.
Yellow slowly nodded. "Why couldn't you have asked the teacher for help?"
Blue looked up at Yellow and grimaced. "Why would I ask a old person for help with my homework? Then I would have to go to their office in the morning, you know?"
Yellow nodded again, but not as slowly. "Okay... I'll help you." She said.
Blue's eyes lit up. "Really?"
Yellow nodded. "Yeah, but on one condition."
"What is it?" Blue said. She sounded like she would do possibly anything for help.
"Break up with your boyfriend."
