Blaise and Ron had cornered Harry one afternoon, and asked him if he and Draco wanted to go to Hogwarts for the day.  No special reason, just to say hello and perhaps have some lunch there.  It would do good to show their faces there once in a while, and Harry was elated at the invite.  He had accepted even without discussing it with Draco, knowing that he would agree just as he had.

They had their morning shower, with Harry taking Draco rough from behind, because that arse.  That beautiful, smooth, sinful pert arse had him on his knees, and his cock standing at full mast, more often than not, and he would never stop worshipping it.  After coming down from their sexual high, they washed and rinsed each other off, got dried and dressed.  Harry in a pair of black pants, tapered to fit him perfectly, with a light pink dress shirt and jacket, while Draco opted to wear the same, but his pants had an elastic around the waist, that wasn't too tight.  His shirt was pale green and he let it hang out.

When they arrived, it seemed that classes were in session, so they decided to pay a visit to the Quidditch pitch.  For old times sake.  Sitting on the bleaches, they made small talk about how they remembered Harry's first game where he caught the snitch in his mouth, and then the second time when Gilderoy Lockheart had removed all the bones in his arm.  It was good to remember, and it was nostalgic.  Before they knew it, it was time for lunch.  They made their way back to the castle and entered the great hall.

As one, all the students and teaching staff stood up to welcome them.  Harry recalled how he had told them that they would never have to stand for him again, but he had never said the same about Draco, and so he went with it.  Raising his hand, he spoke with a smile, "Thank you.  Good afternoon everyone.  We were wondering if we could join you for lunch".  The students went wild and said of course Harry, sit with us, while the teachers said to make themselves at home.  He looked at Draco, telling him that the decision was his to make.

"We will sit at the Slytherin table, thank you Headmaster", he said with a smirk, to which Dumbledore nodded and said they were welcome any time.  Harry led them there, and they dug in to the fabulous food that had been provided.  There was fried chicken, for which Ron was eternally grateful.  There were pork chops, sweet potatoes, green beans, and a carrot salad.  There was a fruit salad and custard for dessert, and pumpkin juice for something to drink.  Harry, being the ever hungry Alpha after a session of morning sex, was starving, and dished a bit of everything onto his plate.

Classes were done for the day, so together with all of the teachers, the four men took a walk along the banks of the Black Lake.  They spoke about different things from how the classes had changed to accommodate everyone, to how obedient the children had become.  Detention wasn't a daily occurrence anymore, to which Harry said, he cannot imagine a school without a rebel.  Which of course made everyone laugh.

Dumbledore, thankful for the visit from the men, decided that he wanted to talk to Harry about something private.  And so asked to speak to him alone.  Harry agreed, and after saying goodbye to everyone, including Draco, they went their separate ways.  Harry thought he knew what was on the mind of his mentor, but best not to say anything until he had heard what was being said first.

He remembered distinctly how, just after being bitten and made Alpha, the whole world had wanted him to join their ranks, but Harry wanted to live a little and be free before he was tied down to anything first.  And being married to Draco, protecting him was his top priority, and people respected that.  For which he was humbled.

They had arrived in the forecourt and took a seat on the steps.  "Draco looks radiant Harry, you must be very proud and very happy", he said to his favorite pupil.  Harry smiled and nodded, and replied, "Yes thank you.  I am both of those things.  Draco has a way of putting me back together again, in all the right ways".

Dumbledore smiled.  "I wanted to ask you if you would consider a teaching position here at Hogwarts.  The DADA class will need a new teacher soon, and I can't think of anyone better than you to teach the subject", he said exhaling a breath.  He had told Minerva and Severus that he was going to ask Harry, and they had both wished him well, saying that he was indeed the best candidate.

"Wow!", replied Harry.  "I am flattered Professor Dumbledore, that you have that much faith in me to actually teach students", he said back.

"Come now Harry, you taught them with ease in your fifth year when you formed 'Dumbledore's Army', and you had faith in yourself, you know".

Harry remembered.  It had been trying times, but they had gotten through it.  Previous teachers had accosted themselves to the fact that the position was cursed, and could only be held for a year, but with Voldemort dead, that superstition was off the table.  Where was the current teacher going then?  He asked the question.

"He has to go and tend to his very sick mother, and he cannot do both Harry", he said sadly.  Professor Ivor Cuthbert had been good at his job, but a war injury had hurt his mother badly, making her health deteriorate, and he had no choice but to end his career and take care of her.  Harry was saddened by this news.  "Is there anything I can do to help them?", he asked kindly.

Dumbledore knew of Harry's kindness.  He hadn't even met the man, and here he was offering to help in any way he could!  "Thank you Harry, I will ask him and let you know.  Also, I am aware that you will probably not accept a position where Draco cannot be close to you, so the potions offer is on the table as well.  Whatever you decide, I will respect it", he said.

"Do you have any other candidates at least?", he asked Dumbledore.  The Headmaster nodded his head and said yes, but he wanted to let Harry know about it first.  Telling him that he would think about it and speak to Draco.  He would have his reply soon, but please remember that we are having twins, and I don't want anyone else other than Draco to look after them at least in their first two years.  Dumbledore accepted this, and thanked Harry for his honesty.

They made their way back to the others, and when it was time to leave, it was almost dinner time.  Shaking hands and hugging people goodbye, making promises to visit more often, and after that was done, they apparated back to the Manor, where they could smell the delicious aroma of Beef and Onion Pie.
