Narcissa had offered to help them by finding the correct books to read on babies in their library, for which Harry was grateful.  He didn't know where to start looking.  He had felt silly, or stupid rather, when he had told Draco that he had never known that babies kick.  Draco had calmed him, telling him stories about how the baby's size would grow from month to month, and why in the first 12 weeks, they didn't kick.  They just didn't have the strength or the actual feet to.

He spoke to Harry in a way that a teacher would speak to a student, and Harry loved hearing his voice.  Telling him many things, and he loved learning new things like how the birthing canal worked for a woman, and that it was different for men.  Muggle men cannot fall pregnant, and so he would have to undergo surgery to remove the babies.  Either that or the orb would be removed with magic.  They would have to make sure with Gloria.

When Harry heard about the surgery, he was in two minds to rip something apart.  No one would ever touch his Omega in an effort to hurt  him, and he knew that he couldn't think like that, but just the thought of someone touching him, slicing through him, made him want to throw up in his mouth.  He asked both Draco and Narcissa to tell him how the other wizards had given birth.  Perhaps they could learn from that.

"Both Perry Peaceweather and Sutton Fox had their orbs removed magically.  It is without a doubt the safest way for a wizard to give birth.  But there are many other wizards who had the surgery done, and the good news was that there was no record of any stillborn baby, or any complications of any kind on both counts", said Draco.  For this, Harry was thanking all the gods above, but he still wanted to make sure with Gloria what their best move would be.  And if she told them that it was their personal decision, he was going to rip her throat out.

"Harry calm down love", said Draco suddenly, feeling what Harry was thinking.  Narcissa frowned, because Harry didn't seem like he was on edge.  But then she lifted her gaze towards him, and saw that he had a murderous look in his eyes.

"Harry, please sit down.  I will tell you what I know all right", she said.  Harry nodded and it took a while to convince him, but he took a seat and decided to listen.

"All women are born with a uterus and a birthing canal.  The baby is born through the vagina, but for wizards, this is not possible.  If you want my honest opinion, I would say go with the orb being magically removed so that the babies can be taken out with no hassle whatsoever", she said.  These kinds words seemed to placate Harry a bit, and he nodded.  Apologizing for his behavior, and she took his hand and gave it a squeeze.

"You have nothing to apologize for Harry, I understand your concern.  But Draco is an Omega, so therefore his pregnancy is strong and healthy, ergo so with the birthing be", she explained.  And that is when Harry decided to release the breath that he didn't even know he had been holding.  Thanking her again for her kind words, walking up to Draco and giving him a bone crushing hug, they each took a book and did some reading on what to expect when the time came for the babies to arrive.

By late afternoon, Harry's eyes were tired.  He had been through so many pages that he had lost count, but all the books that he had read had one thing in common.  Even though there had been wizards who had opted for the surgery - fucking why!! - the majority of the consensus was that removal by magic was indeed the best route.  This way, the babies stayed warm after leaving the womb, and the wizard giving birth had no pain, and no scars.

Harry wouldn't mind if Draco had scars from the birthing.  It told him that his husband was strong.  Strong enough to carry and give life, and scars didn't define who you were.  They made you remember what you had gone through, only making you even stronger than before.  He looked up at Draco who had been watching him, and smiled at him.

Draco smiled back and winked at him.  "That's more like it my angel", he said with an adoring voice.  Harry shook his head and smiled again.  He mouthed out the words I love you, and went back to his reading.  After another half an hour, they were ready to leave the library.  Confident in the knowledge they now possessed, they would talk to Gloria with her next visit, and tell her exactly what they expected to have happen.

Dinner was a quiet affair, with Lucius and Narcissa leading the conversation.  Harry and Draco were both tired, and wanted nothing more than to go to their room and fall asleep.  After dinner, they excused themselves, and decided on a warm bath together.  The last time they had done this, was when Harry had woken up from the bite he had received.  His back against the tub, and Draco against his chest, they lay there each with their own thoughts of what had been said and heard today.

[I love you] said Harry, his voice heavy from drowsiness, being caused by the intoxicating scent of jasmine bubble bath.

[And I love you] replied Draco.  They left the bath, got dried and climbed into bed naked.  Tonight there would be no love making, no pony rides, and no fucking.  Tonight they just wanted to hold on to each other, safe in the knowledge that they had done everything they could to find out what would be the best for the Alpha twins.

Draco had taken a book from the library, wanting to gift it to Harry.  And when Harry lay down next to his stomach to kiss the bump that was housing his babies goodnight, there was a kick to his lips.  He smiled at the movement, and looked up at his husband in total dedication.  Draco had a book in his hands.  It was bound in leather, maroon in color.  It was a children's story book.

"I thought you would want to read to them", said Draco with a smile.  Harry kissed his bump again, took the book and kissed his husband thank you.  Turning the pages, while Draco got comfortable, he started reading from the first chapter.  It wasn't long before he too was soon passed out, and in his slumber, or his Alpha magic, the book found its way to the shelf, and Harry's hand went to Draco's stomach in a show of protection once more.
