Scout Beckett
I guess I have some explaining to do. Evelyn, Kyrie, and Phoenix have noticed by now that I like Alex, whenever I start blushing around her. There's a BIG reason behind that and no it's not how mature her body is. A females body shouldn't matter to a male. It was just her personality that drove me in.
8th Grade - Scout Beckett
Being in 8th grade isn't any better than the other grades I've been in. At Least Evelyn and Kyrie are here, so it's not as boring. Though, Evelyn didn't seem to be at the lunch table yesterday. Maybe he was helping someone or got mixed up, I don't know. Kyrie sat down next to me with a huge smile on her face. "What's that look for?" I asked her, confused. "Evelyn is bringing a girl over" she answered, giggling. "So he likes a girl now, does he?" I asked, feeling a little betrayed. "No, no, he doesn't like her like that, but you might" she answered, continuing to grin. I was questioning in my head what she meant by this. Then, I saw Evelyn walk in with that girl Kyrie was talking about and my face went empire apple red and Kyrie smirked at me, knowing full well that she'd beaten me to the punch on this. I couldn't help, but blush at her. She was adorable! Yes, her body may have been bigger in some places than others, but that's not the point. That shouldn't matter to someone who's single and wants someone to be with. Before I knew it, she was sitting next to me on my right with Evelyn next to Kyrie. Those two just blocked me in and they were smiling, because of it. I stared at the taller girl, which made me very nervous. So now, not only was I blushing, but sweating at the same time. Her mouth grew to a huge smile as she wrapped her arms around me, pulling me to her chest in a hug. I was no longer an apple, I was a cherry. "Oh my gosh, you're so cute!" the female said, seemingly filled with excitement. Evelyn was laughing and Kyrie was trying not to let her own laugh slip from her mouth. What they didn't see though was the small smile I had. I had never had a hug like that since the start of sixth grade from my mom. That was the year I started not feeling comfortable with being touched by anyone, afraid of what they would do. But with her, I didn't say anything, it felt so nice. As Evelyn regained his breath, he explained. "This is Alex, I met her yesterday, I thought you'd like to meet her Scout." he told me. My arms reached around as I gave a hug back to her. This was one of the happiest moments I have ever had, I actually felt....Happy.
