Phoenix sat at the table at lunch, and everyone, besides me, was surprised by this. We hadn't seen her much since she became popular with some of the other students in our school. The problem was, she didn't like all the attention and that didn't help her anger problems. Another unique fact about Phoenix, she's a lesbian. We all support her, we aren't monsters. "Hey Phoenix, how've you been?" Kyrie asked. "I've been good, Kyrie, thanks for asking" Phoenix replied. We all were glad to see her, until that time was over, when we heard him. "Hey you little assholes!" Tim yelled at us, Scout took a big gulp. "Don't think I don't know what you four did, what's with the other bitch at the table?" he yelled, continuing. "Excuse me?!" Phoenix yelled back, pissed off. "You heard me, B I T C H" he said, spelling out the end. Phoenix has always been a bit protective of us since we met and became friends, she didn't wanna lose her friends, we mean a lot to her. Let's just say that we had to make sure Phoenix didn't kill Tim, but he was terrified enough to leave us alone. Nobody messes with Phoenix and gets away with it I guess, hehe. The walk home from school was normal as usual. Me, Scout, Kyrie, Alex and Phoenix walked to each other's houses from school and that's it. It was actually a pretty normal day for once.

(POV: Alex Brookson - 7.5)

I know I may seem brave at some points to my friends, but I don't always feel that way to my friends. My Name is Alex Brookson by the way, and I'm 16. I'm only in 9th grade, because I started school late and I'm ok with it. I hated 8th grade, because so many boys harassed me for my body being more mature than some of that usual age. It was uncomfortable, and they would never leave me alone. That was until a boy walked up to them while they were doing it again. "Hey,leave her alone! You're gonna get yourself in trouble!" he said to them, making them run off. I looked at him, trying to tell if he was real or not. He had just stood up to them as he knew they could beat him. "Thank you so much, it really means a lot to me!" I said to him, very thankful. "It's not a problem, I'm Evelyn by the way" he said, with a smile on his face. "I'm Alex" I replied. Evelyn, what a nice name, not something you hear everyday. He invited me to sit with him and his friends at their lunch table, I was so happy. As I sat down, I saw him and two others. Kyrie and Scout were their names and they were just as nice as him. Kyrie was happy they had a new table member, but Scout seemed a little blushy toward me, and I don't really know why. Scout is adorable though, he's really smart too. He helps everyone with homework and we usually all study together. It's been really great since I met the three of them. It's made me....Who I Am.
