I looked at the page, still trying to translate what it said, it was in many languages, that I didn't know how to speak, except the Spanish: "El Poder Viene de Tu Corazón", which translates to, "The Power comes from your Heart". What I don't understand though is, how to activate this power that I apparently have. What could it be that I'm missing, I can't get it through my head. Oh, by the way, My name is Evelyn Valentine, a male, and I'm 15 years old. I've looked through every room including the basement for a clue, the only place I haven't checked: The Attic. I guess I don't really have much of a choice now. I pulled the string to the stairs above my bedroom door and climbed up. There were boxes everywhere, of pictures, books, videotapes, and my old school projects. There was something out of the ordinary though, a necklace laying on one of my great grandparents' tables, the mysterious part of it was the fox head. It was painted gold with blue eyes, but it seemed really detailed just to be a necklace, I felt this tingling sensation as I picked it up and held it in my hand. It hadn't served much of a purpose to anyone besides being an antique, what were we supposed to do with it? I decided to shove it in my pocket to bring it to school tomorrow. Maybe my friends can help me figure this out, cause I sure can't. I tried to look through all the old books in the boxes, it was full of dust and cobwebs, underneath it all. There were all my old textbooks from my other school grades, I hated Math. If there was any subject that I sucked at the most, it was Math. Art and Music were classes that I excelled in, but it declined when it came to Math. When it came to my friends though, it was different, they're more of math wizzes than I am. We all sit at our own table during Lunch Time, for various reasons, that will be explained at some point down the line. The Night sky really makes the attic look nicer, especially the stars shining in through the window. I headed back to my bed, I had a lot to explain to my friends about this strange necklace I had found. The Next morning I got up, got dressed, ate breakfast and waited at the bus stop.

The day finally started as I sat down in math class, trying to keep my mind off of this object, that I had crossed with, and I would have finally managed if it wasn't for the number of bullies in this damn school. I felt a paper ball hit the back of my head and looked back to see who had thrown it. It was one of the bullies, Tim Markson. I would have said something, if his ex-girlfriend, Luna wasn't one of the most popular girls in the school. It's not that I like her, it's just that, well, she's kinda been a jerk to me since we met in 7th grade and that before I met the other three in my group. Every other class went the same: Sit down, get bullied, and work. Finally, in the final period of the day, I made it to lunch, starting to think about the necklace. Was it cursed? I didn't really know at this point.
