Kyrie Hayden - 10.5 Part 1
I wasn't always happy as I am now. It all started back in 2nd Grade, when I had two pigtails and a ponytail. It may sound like a lot, but I thought it was cute and a cool look on me. The other kids didn't think so, saying things that stick with me. "You're ugly", "It looks stupid", "Why do you look like that", are all kinds of things they would say, and it continued all the time, each time I tried, until seventh grade. I felt so alone and hurt by everyone saying these things about me, cause it just felt like I wouldn't have any friends at all. No one would let me sit with them at lunch, and I just thought of sitting in a corner and eating alone. That was until I heard someone. "Hey, do you wanna sit with us?", said a boy with brown hair. He was sitting with a rather tired looking boy who was wearing a red shirt made with a hood. I sat down at their table and thought that this was just going to be a one time thing. They'd probably forget about me tomorrow. But, they had smiles on their faces, nothing like all the other grades. These two boys, Evelyn and Scout, really seemed like they wanted to be friends. "You should be who you really wanna be, screw what other people say about you" Scout told me. That really made me realize, only I can decide...What Makes Me, Me.
Phoenix Arizona - 10.5 Part 2
I'm a naturally angry person, it's really who I am. It started at my childhood, I was an only child and I had always had a problem with having too much. It wasn't me, it was the fact, that I got way too much of things, when I didn't ask for much. It made me upset and I never understood why. It calmed me down going to school and I made it through each grade, it was early 7th grade that changed. This guy would never leave me alone, and I finally snapped letting out so much anger, which is why I gained so much popularity. It still didn't make me feel any better as I sat alone while everyone surrounded me. It was in the middle of the second week of 7th grade that it changed. There was this boy, he had fluffy brown hair, and wore a blue hoodie. "Is it ok if I sit here?" he asked. "Y-yeah I guess" I answered, nervous about the crowd that might come over. But he sat down, his face looked so soft and he wore a smile on his face. He seemed really friendly, not the friendly where he would follow you everywhere you go, but he actually looked like someone I could actually be real friends with. The group of people finally started piling over and talking, making me feel really uncomfortable. "Guys, leave her alone already!" he said, finally making them back away back to their seats. "Oh I'm Evelyn by the way" he said, still all smiles. "Phoenix..." I replied, starting to smile a little bit. I guess he really did wanna be friends. Maybe I should...Look at the Good, not the Bad.
