Scout Beckett

They seem to be doing fine right now, besides what Kyrie sent to me. So Evelyn is doing good at fitting in with the crowd, while Phoenix just throws back whatever is thrown at her. If it's something like a water balloon that is, she doesn't throw everything back at people. Thomas and Will seem to be friendly with Evelyn, but with Phoenix and Alex, they're still kind of assholes. As soon as they were done for the day, everyone split back up and left that way. It took them around Twenty minutes to get back to my house and everyone seemed to be there. Kyrie, Phoenix, Alex, Me, Tim, Luna, Aeliana and...where's Evelyn? "Has anyone seen where Evelyn is?" I asked them. Everyone looked around and shrugged. I heard panting and looked over as Evelyn ran in with bruises around his body. "Woah, what the shit happened to you?" Phoenix asked, as she leaned back. "It's a long story, so give me a minute to catch my breath" he responded, still panting. He had obviously been running from something. He sat down and cleared his throat. "Okay" he started.

I started to tell them about what happened fifteen minutes ago. I was walking back to Scout's house, not expecting anything to go wrong. That was until the two started walking towards me and grabbed my shoulder. "Hey Ev" Thomas said to me. I turned around and looked at him. "Hey Thomas, what's up?" was all I got to ask before Will punched me to the ground. "Listen, don't think we don't know what you're up to" Will started. "Yeah, just because you did all that work, doesn't mean you just get a free pass" Thomas continued. I started to sweat, thinking they had found out about our plan to stop them. "Just because you helped us doesn't give you a free ticket inside the dance" Thomas finished, before they stomped on me a few times and walked off. That's when I realized, I was in the clear and that was what happened. I looked back up at the others and shrugged a bit. "For having such a huge prank, they're pretty bad at spotting someone trying to stop their plan" I said. But, at least it gave us the idea that they didn't know what we were trying to do. Everyone decided that a good second course of action would be to stay at Scout's house for the night so they wouldn't try to sneak on all of our houses. Especially since the tree house is too small for eight people of different heights and plus if we're all in the same place, they can't just take us down all at once. I mean Scout had a makeshift tree house that about six people could fit in. So almost everyone hopped in there and I climbed up to see if there was room for a seventh. Then, I looked back and saw Scout just sitting on the porch swing. Plus, the treehouse door was already shut, so I really had no choice, but to climb down and sit on the porch swing too. I hopped to the ground, walked up the stairs and sat next to him. "You nervous?" I asked Scout. "Yeah" he answered, simply. I stretched and laid my back to the back of the swing. "Listen Scout, I get it, everyone is nervous, but even if something goes wrong, we'll still be there, you're not in this alone." I told him. He looked at me and just smiled in a way I haven't seen since around when we met. "Thanks Ev" he responded. He yawned and leaned on my arm, falling asleep slowly. I myself was getting tired, because it had been a long day. I yawned and leaned back looking at the sky. I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep.
