Chapter 36: Sisterly Bond

Phoenix won't come out of her house. I can tell she feels hurt since we saw that video together. It must hurt knowing one of the members of a potentially harmful group is your own sister. She hasn't talked to anyone except me, which shows me how betrayed she feels. I walked down the street later, when Aeliana bumped into me. "Kyrie, I know I probably pissed Phoenix off and that I probably deserve her not talking to me, but can you at least try to talk to her?" she asked. I shrugged and answered back, "I can try, but I can't guarantee she'll listen to me". Later, I walked into her room and sat on the bed. "Listen Phoenix, maybe you shouldn't be as mad at your sister as you are" I told her as she glared at me, though I didn't show it, that expression terrifies me. "Why should you care about my sister, she's a lying bitch" she replied, wiping the tears in her eyes. "Look, Babe, I'm not gonna force you to do this, but try to at least give her a chance, okay?" I told her. I smiled and put my hand on hers. In an instant, we went from hand on hand to her wrapping her arms around me in a hug. She was really upset, so I just let the hug happen. I remember a lot about Aeliana from when me and Phoenix were little. The tree house, movie nights, and lots of other times. But, it wasn't til the hospital that me and Phoenix finally knew that we fell in love with each other. It may not seem like our personalities mix very well, but she loves me a lot. Plus, I don't seem angry, but I am angry sometimes. Even Alex is sometimes, but we don't show it when our friends are around, only in private. But her and her sister do have quite a bond so I don't think it's gonna break anytime soon. For now, I guess I'm just cuddling again, hehe.
