Scout Beckett
I decided to take a walk since I had nothing better to do. It's dark outside and somewhat cool outside as the temperature had dropped a bit. I was getting farther and farther away from my house and it was getting closer to night time. I started to look behind me, seeing if anything or anyone was there. It didn't seem like it, until I heard the sound of stick SNAP from somewhere behind me. I ran behind a telephone pole, shaking as I heard steps getting closer and closer, nearer and nearer. I wanted to run, but my body wouldn't move, I was frozen. Then, something grabbed my sleeve and a hand covered my mouth as my breathing turned panic. They spoke as soon as they had me in their grip. "Hey, Hey, Calm Down, it's me", said the voice. I stopped panicking as I heard them, knowing who it was. I moved their hand and looked at them. "Tim, what the hell is wrong with you?!", I said to him, not understanding why he decided to just grab me out of nowhere. "Listen to me, I need your help with something. You're kinda the only one I know that's smart enough with this kind of thing", he requested of me. He looked over, his expression annoyed, seeing the smirk on my face. "What's that look for?" he asked me. "Just listening to you realize that you need help from the "Poindexter" that you push around. I responded, still smirking "What the fuck ever, will you help me or not?" he responded, tapping his foot. I sighed, laughing a bit. "Why not, all I was doing was taking a walk" I said, watching him start walking. "Let's get going then" he told me, as I followed him, walking to our destination. As we made our way down the road, it felt as if we were being followed. My hands were shaking, but I wasn't alone in the fear. Tim was starting to sweat and his eyes twitched. We looked around, the woods were the only thing next to us. The next thing we knew, something started to run towards us from the woods. Tim grabbed my arm as both started running away from whatever that was and toward where Tim needed us to be.
