I gently place Kowa on a thick layer of leaves. I have to find something to eat. Kowa did it for me and now I must do it for Kowa.

I grab the gun she dropped and quietly leave the hut. I block the entryway with the leaves fully and start to look at my surroundings. And I'm not familiar with anything.

Of course I don't recognize here. I was trying to be Mr.Hero and everything but I have no idea of the path taken to arrive at the hut. I sigh at my stupidity and stomp a foot on the ground, lifting some dust into the air. I have no idea where I am. Kowa led me here when I was tied up. Well, she brought me here. I wasn't really led here.

I stare at the trees and notice flower buds popping up everywhere. I look at a few more trees and notice no nests. Uhhhh there's no food. I start to give up but then I notice a small wooden building. I look a little further to the right and it vanishes. I do it for the left and it vanishes again. I stare at it and decide to explore it later.

I walk back to the hut and move the leaves. Kowa shuts her eyes quickly and opens them back up. I stare at Kowa with my brows furrowed. Kowa smiles at me but she notices my confused face.

"I thought you were here to capture me. I couldn't find you Darren and I thought someone took you and I... I just... I don't know." Kowa throws her hands in the air and she has an frustrated face. Kowa looks adorable frustrated.

"Kowa?" Kowa looks up at me and smiles. "You look so much like your mother. Do you know that?"

Kowa smiles at me. "Of course I know that. Everyone says that."

I look at her deep brown eyes and wonder how they could shine so brightly with happiness and terror.

Kowa looks at me. "Darren?"

No one has used my name in a while. It's like it was a long lost thing.

I nod and Kowa continues. "I was just thinking of how you saved me when you don't even me know well. You saved me so many times and we don't even know one another completely. It just came to my mind."

I stare at Kowa and she looks concentrated.

Kowa notices me staring at her and blushes. Kowa pulls back her hair in a sloppy ponytail and places some hair behind her ear.

"Darren! Oh, I almost forgot. I have something to show you!" Kowa jumps up excitedly. Kowa gently holds my hand and leads me out of the entryway and walks to the left of the woods. Kowa continues to walk and I look around for food. Once in a while Kowa looks at me.

I'm still looking for food when Kowa stops. Kowa looks at my eyes and I look right back into them. I hear the sound of water hitting an edge. Kowa smiles at me and she turns me slowly around to face forward. The view is absolutely breath taking. The ocean seems endless and the waves splashing against the cliff makes my heart flutter.

The sun is tipped in orange and is bright red. Just like at home. I can't help but stare at the beauty. "It's so beautiful," I say to Kowa. Kowa smiles at me so brightly. Brighter than the sun. Kowa holds my hand and turns me back to her.

Kowa looks so beautiful in the brightness. Her brown hair is flowing gracefully in the wind. I lean in slightly and our noses touch. Kowa laughs and smiles at me. She rubs my cheeks gently with her thumbs.

Kowa smiles at me again and I wrap my hands around her waist and pull her close to me. Kowa giggles cutely and she places her arms around my neck. Kowa smiles. I kiss her softly and every kiss is like a million flames on my lips. I smile and our noses touch once again. I can't help myself from falling in love with Kowa. Kowa is everything I need.
