-+-Third POV-+-

After the two were brought to separate rooms, Camilo being in the dining room with his parents and Y/n in the nursery with Alma and Julieta, they were both questioned on what happened that morning. Y/n still hadn't come down from the situation and it took lots of convincing to get them to speak.

"Camilo pretended to be my dad to play a prank on me and he scared the living soul out of me. I slapped him, he turned back into himself, he tried to stop me from leaving to get emotional support from my friends, I slapped him, he punched me, we fought, Mirabel and Dolores separated us, that leads us to where we are now. That's all you need to know."

Camilo sat at the dinner table with his parents standing at the end of the table across from him. Felix and Pepa were both equally upset with him, but he was more afraid of his mother at the time.

"I know I should fess up about what I did, but I'm not entirely sure what was going through my brain at the time. I know it sounds weird but it's true!" He knew he couldn't mess this up too, so he had to be careful with his words. "I woke up in the morning and had this little voice in my brain saying 'hey you should shift into Y/n's dad and pretend to be him as a joke' and it was really persistent so I did. I went to the corner and y'know, did the thing I think I did."

Pepa was about to start talking when Felix spoke first, "We know what you did wasn't your idea in the beginning, but you decided to agree to this voice in your head and essentially traumatise Y/n and fight them?"

"Exactly," Pepa added, "But what I don't understand is why you 'did the thing you think you did'. What does that mean?"

At this point, Camilo was getting really stressed. His father was taking control of the situation, his mother was surprisingly calm, and they were asking too many questions.

"Well, I don't exactly know what I did or said up until when I was myself again. I felt like it was all just a weird feeling dream. I knew what I was saying in the moment, but after I said it, I forgot what I said. It was like I just forgot, and I had this rough idea of what happened without knowing what it was."

He was guilty about the situation, and it wasn't right for him to hit back. He just hoped that Y/n would try to forgive him in the future.

"Y/n I get that you're upset, but can you please just tell us why you hit him after he hit you? This is all so confusing!" Mirabel groaned, trying to get any answer out of them.

Y/n looked about ready to shoot anyone in the face with a high pressure water gun and blow a hole in their face if they say anything. They weren't saying much, only very brief explanations, and they sat on the bed with their arms crossed and a death glare.

"Since we aren't getting anywhere, Y/n must not leave Mirabel's side until we can sort out this ordeal. Mirabel, don't push them to say stuff, be nice. Y/n, we need answers. I have to leave."

And with that, the women exited the room.
