Camilo sat at his desk with a concentrated expression. Concentrating was difficult for Camilo, he never knew when to stop talking. He wanted to tell Y/n everything in his brain, but words are hard sometimes.

"I'll write them a letter! I love writing!" He stood up from his chair and announced his plan. He gasped. "Oh my god, I could write a poem in it!"

He immediately got to work, writing his feelings down on the paper. He wanted to show Y/n what truly meant so much to him. Once he finished, he held it up with a triumphant look on his face. It read:

"My dearest, Y/n,

I don't know how to write a love poem
Especially one just for you
And although I want to,
It is strangely hard for me to do

I don't know how to write romance
In a poem so appealing
To mend all that needs healing
In showing you my feeling

I don't know how to write passion
Poetry about you being sensitive and sweet
About how you swept me off my feet
But just writing rhymes make me feel like a cheat

I don't know how to be a poet for my beloved
Even though you're the reason I sigh
And I have no clue why
But I want you by my side

So, maybe I could ask you how to write a love poem
Since you are my muse, and I write what can be spoken
But perhaps I can't, because my heart you have stolen

C. Madrigal"

He heard a knock on the door and immediately started panicking. He hid the note in his shirt and turned around to see the door opening. Alma stood in the door, a little concerned.

"Are you alright, Camilo?" Alma asked.

"Mhm! All fine."

Alma sighed, "I saw how Y/n looked during dinner earlier, and I don't want any more infighting. Trying to keep Dolores and Isabela from fighting is hard enough, and I don't want another incident like last time."

"We weren't fighting." Camilo added, "They were just tired. And had just woken up."

Alma sighed in relief and wished Camilo goodnight. She closed the door and walked away. Camilo let out a big sigh and took the note out.

He quietly walked out of his room and over to Mirabel's room. He slid the note under the door and ran back to he room. He didn't waste any time with get ready for bed and quickly fell asleep with a smile.
