So, with their new found awesomeness and no Bruno stopping them, they made their way over to the small mountain behind casita.

Y/n stood just outside the entrance to the cave. It was about five feet wide and seven feet tall. They looked inside and was immediately met with a cool breeze flowing from behind them, almost like it was trying to push them in.
As they took their first step toward the cave, a slight ringing came to their ears. They stopped and took a step back. They listened for the ringing but they heard nothing, only the leaves on the trees. And a voice.
A voice?
"Follow me. Follow me. I have something to show you." The voice was monotone and it sounded completely new. It didn't have the right sound that they were used to.
But it was so persistent that they took a few steps into the cave. With every step, the ringing grew louder and even started sounding like white noise. Eventually, it calmed down once they were inside, but it was still there.
Y/n thought it was their father, maybe he had something to do with the noise. Maybe it was their mother's ghost trying to tell them to go back.
Nevertheless, they kept pushing and after a few turns they were met with a small beam of light around a bend. They were so excited that they almost started running for it, but they stopped. Why did they stop? They didn't want to stop. No, they wanted to find their dad and beat him senseless until he realised all the trauma he put them through.
Instead, they slowly backed onto a wall and they listed every thing at hand.
Bruno wanted to go, breeze pushing in, stopping when I wanted to go, light.
They took many deep breathes before clutching their chest with their hands and walking closer. With every step, the ringing became louder and louder. As they rounded to corner, the noise stopped.
Y/n saw a huge tavern looking place with warm light and soft folk music. In the very middle was a dining table, and sitting at the very far end of the table was Alejandro L/n.
He slowly turned his head to look at the door way. His eyes immediately lit up, and not in a good way. They were glowing a beautiful turquoise color as the room around him slowly became more and more sickly. It seemed like he was sucking the life force from it.
A voice in Y/n's head told them to walk to him, but they were frozen. The voice tried every way it could to get them to go to Alejandro, but eventually he got tired of waiting.
"I said come here you little brat! Is it so hard to listen to me that you can't even listen to one simple request?!" He screamed, and Y/n slowly walked to the other end of the table.
"What do you mean? There was a voice that told me, not you." Y/n was really confused. He hadn't said a single word to them.
"I guess I haven't really been transparent with you, and I'm sorry. Our family also has a gift. Like the Madrigals, except our magic came from centuries ago. Your ancestors were involved in a terrible and traumatic fire that spread all throughout their town and it burnt everything. It gave them powers too, and every generation after would receive one. Mine is the ability to influence people's decisions and dreams. Yours.." He sighed.
What was it? How could he talk so much about anything and everything but when he needs to say something important, he goes silent?
"What is it?" Y/n insisted, now they were really worried.
"You have the ability to bend light and form the illusion of something that isn't there. And I know what you're thinking, 'wow! that's so cool! how do I do it dear dad of mi-'"
"I'm not calling you my dad." Y/n scolded. Alejandro looked devastated, but he slowly nodded.
"Right. You're right, I'm sorry. But, I would never let you do it as a kid because I thought the people would think that you're crazy and so I kept you from the Madrigals as soon as I saw you using it for the first time. I thought they'd name you as an outcast."
"But why can't you teach me now?! It seems so cool and I could use it to help or something like that. Just please tell me how."
"I'm sorry.. But it's not that easy." Alejandro slowly lowered his head.
"And why's that?" Y/n sassed.
"Because, you aren't being very kind to your father. I've given you everything. I killed your mother because she was going to tell you about your gift. I know it's wrong but I wanted to protect you. She wanted you to be shunned by the community, and I couldn't let that happen to my child."
