Stefan and Elena "The News"

Twin's First Birthday

Stefan's POV
It has been a year since my beautiful wife gave birth to the most amazing kids.No matter the circumstances they helped Elena and I get through them.She said she would never believe she could follow her dream of becoming a teacher after everything that has happened I told her I never would have believed that I would marry a human (or doppelgänger) and have two little babies.I will support her with everything I can as I will with our beautiful children.

My little princess Ella has been cancer free for almost 9 months now and is definitely my girl.She always has to be around me and Elena said she waits by the door and cries every time I go hunting.Nothing in this world could take her or the rest of the family from me.

Elena and I have gotten closer than we ever thought we could ever imagine.Everyday I just love her more and more everyday.She has given me everything I could ever wish for.

"STEFAN!"I throw down my book and run to Elena who was in the bedroom across the hall.She had little Ella in a little diaper with a crying Aiden on her leg.She was rummaging thru the babies' closet.She turned around as I was picking up the sad Aiden from her leg.

"I can't find their clothes.They need their clothes!We still have to go get the cake and the-"I kissed her before she could continue rambling.I ended the kiss and ran down stairs and brought Elena the outfits she left on the couch.I gave her one last kiss and handed Aiden to Damon and left to finish running the errands.

I pulled into the Bakery Parking Lot and I realized how thankful I was to be celebrating not one but two of my children's birthday.

~7:30pm (later that day)~

I finished throwing out the last big garbage bag of trash and putting Aiden and Ella's new toys and gifts in their bedroom.As I was making my way back to the living room I saw a picture of my family when Damon and I were kids we were running around laughing.I hope my kids have a wonderful childhood.I walk into the living room to see Elena laying on the couch with a little Ella cuddled up on her side.On the floor was Damon with Aiden lying on his stonach.All of them were sleeping.

I realized everything would turn out just fine.
