Telling the Father

Elena woke up to beeping sounds from over her head.When she fully gained consciousness, she realized she was in a hospital room.

Knock...knock...

She raised her head up to see a worried Damon walk in.

"Damon wh-what's going on?"

Damon sat down on a small recliner by the bed.He grabbed her hand in his and looked at her with tear-filled eyes.

"Elena, you have been unconscious for three days.I had to make up some story to Jenna and Stefan on how you drove to Georgia and your car broke down and nobody can get the part for it for a while."

"Three days?"Elena said with a confused look glued to her face.

BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!

"Elena calm down.Your heart rate is getting too high.You need to calm down or you won't get any better."Damon said, not really sure what to do.

He went and pressed the button that sent four nurses into the tiny room.

"Elena!""Calm down sweetheart!""Don't let her heart rate get too high!""I'm going to call Dr.Desryu!" All the nurse chattering made Elena dizzy and then her memory of three days ago clicked in.Her heartbeat started to slow and it was a funny sight watching the nurses' confused looks on what was going on.

The oldest nurse finally got out a needle and walked over to her IV and before Elena could object, the pain medication was rushing thru her body.When she looked around with her droopy eyes, she realized all the nurses left.

"Damon..."She said in a whisper.

"Yes.What is it?"

"I'm pregnant.Aren't I?"

"Yeah.Apparently the vampire and the doppelgänger can procreate."

"Have you told him yet?"

"No.I couldn't."

"Can I talk to himmm...?"She was getting so tired, she couldn't keep her eyes open.

"Yes.Make it quick."

Elena felt a cellphone on her ear and she heard the familiar voice on the other end.

"Elena, has the part came in yet?Are you okay?Do I need to come get you?"

"Stefan I'm pregnant and it's yoursss...."

She fell asleep during the call and Damon took his phone back.

"Damon watch over Elena, Katherine is back."
