Chapter 31 (SPG)

Aika had dinner with her husband and friends. If only looks could kill, Kane would be dead by now.

"I'm sorry, babe. I was just trying to help in an intense way." Saad nito.

"Do you want to fucking die, Montez?" Seryosong tanong ni Zen kay Kane.

"Ha? Babe? Who's babe? Oh. Hi babe!" Pag-iwas ni Kane sa tanong nito sabay tingin kay Marcus na nakangiti.

Marcus showed his middle finger to Kane before drinking wine from his glass.

It was only 6 p.m. and it was too early for dinner, but they all got hungry, so they decided to try the food at the nearby restaurant.

Nang matapos sila ay nag-aya naman na mag-bar si Marcus. Noong una ay ayaw pa pumayag ni Zen pero makulit ang mga kaibigan nito kaya naman napilit din silang mag-asawa.

Medyo malayo ang bar na napuntahan nila kaya naman inabot sila ng alas otso na ng gabi bago makarating doon.

Marcus was the one who drove the car dahil ito din naman ang nag-aya na pumunta sila dito.

It wasn't as huge as the bar in BGC kung saan sila nagpupunta pero pwede na din. They're just here to have fun after all.

Kane ordered Vodka Tonic and martini. Noong una ay sila lamang ni Marcus ang umiinom hanggang sa napilit na din nila si Zen.

They ordered different varieties of drinks that the bar had and some snacks for Aika.

"Can I try it?" Aika asked pertaining to the drinks on the table.

"You don't drink." Zen said.

"Try it, babe." Kane said as he handed her a glass of tequila.

Tinanggap naman ito ni Aika ng hindi pinapansin ang sinabi ng asawa niya na ngayon ay masama ang tingin kay Kane.

Aika drank it all in one shot. Hindi maipinta ang mukha niya nang maubos ito. This was her first time trying tequila, and she didn't like it that much. Maybe it's because she's not used to drinking alcohol.

"It tastes bad." Kumento niya na tinawanan ni Kane at Marcus.

Dahil hindi naman siya umiinom ay nakaramdam kaagad siya ng pagsakit ng ulo dahil sa tequila na ininom niya.

Napansin naman ito ng asawa niya na nag-aalalang dumalo sa kaniya.

"Are you okay? Bakit mo kasi ininom?" Tanong ni Zen.

"I just want to try it. Gosh! My head hurts." sagot niya.

Zen sighed. "Mauna na kami. Aika needs to rest." Pagpapaalam nito kila Kane at Marcus na tumango naman nang makita ang lagay ng dalaga.

Inalalayan ni Zen ang asawa hanggang sa maisakay ito sa sasakyan. Nang makasakay siya ay kaagad niyang minaniobra ang sasakyan paalis sa bar.

Zen was checking on Aika from time to time and asked her if she needed medicine to make her feel better, but Aika refused and said that she was okay.

Nang makarating sila ng resort ay binuhat niya ang asawa na parang bagong kasal hanggang sa makarating sila sa silid na inuukupa.

Zen opened the aircon to make his wife sleep comfortably. But it seems like Aika had another idea, or maybe the air-conditioned room was not enough to satisfy the heat she was feeling, because she started taking her clothes off while muttering that she felt like her body was burning.

Zen stood a few meters away from his wife, who was now naked in the bed while sleeping. His eyes were glued to her body and beautiful face while cursing inside his head.
