"Bite me."--Jax

2995

"I'm trying my absolute hardest to see things from your perspective, but I just can't get my head that far up my ass."

Do you ever have those days where every person you see you just want to punch in the face with a brick? Where every person grates on your nerves until you feel like you're meditating like freaking Gandhi? Well, that is Jax's mood today and he is seriously close to being Enlightened. "I'm sorry Sir, but there is no reservation under 'Bellezza," the restaurant reception jerk sighs.

"It's Bae-lay-za-Bellezza! I made this reservation six months ago, that reservation is there, and I don't care if you have to kick one of the couples out of their seat my husband and I are going to get our reservation table."

"Husband?"

Oh by the gods, don't let him be a HAP...

"Yes. Husband. Is that a problem Ronaldo?"

"My name is Robert."

"Yes, I know Ronaldo, is that a problem? Because my sister-in-law is a psychologist and went to law school as did her dad and uncle, I can sue, and trust me, I will win. So what will it be Rodney?"

"I'm sorry Sir-"

"SISTER-IN-LAW! THE RESTAURANT RECEPTIONIST REFUSES TO SERVE ME BECAUSE I AM GAY AND HAVE A FABULOUSLY SEXY HUSBAND!"

"Seriously? I am getting sick of these cases; they take less than two days, and it leaves the HAP bankrupt anyway so why do they bother taking it to court? I will call the department to start a case-"

"No! No, that's okay Ma'am, there's no reason to do that!" Ronaldo/Rodney/Robert shouts. "Look at that! Someone just canceled and there is an opening for six-thirty, should I put you in?"

"That's what I thought. Yes, Richard, that would be great. I do expect a full, in-person apology to me and my husband tonight," Jax says.

"Yes Sir."

"See you tonight Reagan."

"It's Rob-"

Jax hangs up and turns to Rhea with a smile. "I finally see your appeal in being mean."

"I am not mean," Rhea gasps.

"You can be," Gemini mutters.

"Enjoy the couch tonight mi alma."

"See!" he bursts.

"Babe!" Ambrose calls, Jax immediately finds the source of his voice only to smile when he sees Sia laying down in her papa's lap. She woke up this morning sick with a fever of 101 degrees and has been clinging to Ambrose since, not that Ambrose minds. "Could you get me water please?"

"Sure." He fetches the water bottle he bought for his husband last year for their anniversary and fills it with water. Ambrose laughed when he first saw what it says, I make my husband thirsty it was corny and a little inappropriate, Tarver was the only kid to get it. "I got us reservations at Benchi's tonight."

"Seriously? That place is always packed, you have to make reservations months ahead-did you?"

"Yeah, I knew I wanted to do something special for our anniversary this year, eleven years we've been married. It's crazy, right?"

"Yeah. Come here," Ambrose grins as Jax slinks down on the floor in front of Ambrose, he leans his head back as Ambrose starts to run his fingers through his hair gently.
