Six months ago Ambrose started his halfway house program and today he just finished his last day two days before Tarver turns five and Jax has never been prouder. "We're so proud of you Amby," Jaxin smiles as he hugs his boyfriend, their six-month-old daughter grabbing at her papa's face, he takes her from Jax's arms and spins her around before kissing all over her face making her giggle and snort.

"How's my baby princess?" He drops her into his arms and kisses Jaxin. "Hi."

"Hi, I guess I get the leftover love now?"

"Can you blame me? Look at her!" Sia smiles and kicks her legs as Ambrose rocks her back and forth.

"I was thinking we could do something to celebrate," Jax suggests as he wraps his arm around Ambrose's waist. He even looks healthier now, as the days went on he came home happier and happier, he wasn't nearly as depressed as he was and now he's like a little puppy with all his energy and excitement. "If you want."

"Of course! What're we gonna do?"

"What do you want to do? I thought we could have a date night, maybe a picnic or a movie or-"

"Oh! I've got an idea!"

"What?"

"Remember that lake we went to for our first date? What if we went back there to swim and watch the sunset? It's really warm today so the water shouldn't be too cold."

Jax cracks a smile remembering that date how much fun it was, that is until they got home, and Ambrose had his major freak out and landed himself in the hospital. Even through the horrible pain, it is still one of the best times in his life because it involves Ambrose, he must have zoned out because he jumps when Sia hits his face. "Hey, don't hit Dad, that's not nice. Is that okay? I mean, we don't have to if you don't, but I thought it would be cool, kinda nostalgic. Granted it wasn't at the best of times but it's one of those moments that makes the pain more bearable. I'm sorry, I'm rambling."

"Hey, it's fine, I love to hear you talk even if it's about the stupidest of things. I'd love to go back there with you and maybe one day we can take a trip down there and let Sia swim around. Tonight we do anything you want, say the word and I'll make it happen," he responds, pressing tiny kisses to Ambrose's neck making him squirm and Sia giggle. Sia in Ambrose's arms is like perfection, they're so bonded and it's amazing to see, he wants to make Ambrose happy in any way he can no matter what it costs him.

"Okay. I love you."

"So much Amby."

They have been swimming in the lake for over an hour just fooling around and splashing each other, randomly giving kisses while Jax jumps on his back and tries to push him under until Ambrose starts tickling him and Jax nearly chokes. "Baby, I think I need CPR," Jax heaves being his dramatic self.

"So chest compressions?"

"Well you can compress my chest whenever you like but I was thinking more along the lines of mouth-to-mouth. Quick, I'm dying over here."

"So me kissing you is going to save your life?"

"Woooooow, okay so my boyfriend wants me to die-oh, look, I have died and gone to heaven because in my head my hot boyfriend is kissing me."

Ambrose leans in and kisses Jax just to shut him up but as he thought, Jax jumps on him and wraps his legs around his waist to prevent him from moving, biting Ambrose's lip and pushing his tongue forward. Ambrose pulls back and Jax pouts. "You taste like lake water."
