Chapter 12

A new day. It's 6 AM and my alarm shouts. It's too early, it's always too early. It's Monday and I have to go to school. I like that I can go to school but it means that Charlie is there. It's gonna be so awkward.

I step out of my bed, take a shower, and put some clothes on. I decided to wear some jeans and a simple white shirt. Just casual, maybe Charlie won't notice me. Maybe no one will notice me and I'll just be one of those silent kids.

The only problem is, the silent kids are always in the back of the class and don't answer the questions of the teachers. I'm the opposite. I sit in the front and answer all the questions.

Two hours later, I'm on my bike, almost at school. Suddenly, someone drives next to me. For one moment I think it's Charlie but then I hear Felix's voice. "Hey Jenn," he says. I smile. "Oh, hey Felix."

"Have you watched the new Fantastic Beasts movie yet?" Felix asks. I shake my head. "Unfortunately not," I answer. "If you want to, you can come over to my house and we can do a Harry-Potter-Movie-Night. I found a site where I can download the movie," he suggests.

I pull up my eyebrows. "I thought only Slytherins would do that kind of thing," I laugh. "Well, this Huffelpuf knows how to download movies and knows how to be a good friend as well. You, as a Ravenclaw, should be smart enough to watch the movie with me. In the cinema it's much more expensive," he replies.

I laugh. "I'd love to do a Harry-Potter-Movie-Night with you. It sounds fun," I smile and Felix smiles back. "Okay, is Friday night okay with you?" he asks. I nod. "Perfectly fine."

He smiles as we reach the school. We walk inside and Felix goes to his locker. I walk toward mine, which is at the other end of the school. The people who decided to give me that locker must hate me.

I walk through the hallway on my way to my classroom as I bump into Dana. "Hey, long time not seen," I say. Dana fake-smiles. "Jenn, can you do me a favor?" she asks. "Sure," I say and I nod. "Do you have some money I can lend? I'm broke and I need some money," she says.

"I promise I'll give it back," she continues. "Of course," I say. "How much do you need?" I open my wallet. "Fifty," Dana says. "Fifty?!" I repeat in shock. Dana nods. I take a bill from my wallet.

If she needs it, I have to give it to her, right? We're friends. Or at least, we were friends.

Dana smiles. "I'll give it back," she says and she grabs the bill. She turns around and walks away. There goes my money. The money I saved up for so long. It's okay. I'll get it back.

I walk into my classroom and there is nobody there yet. I take a seat in the front row and take my books out of my backpack. After a few minutes, some girls walk into the classroom. They are the girls who always hang around Charlie. I think they were at the party too.

The girls smile and greet me. Wow, I didn't know they would be nice to me. When the bell rings, Charlie walks into the classroom and takes the seat behind me. The group of girls immediately starts to giggle.

Charlie smiles at them and I can see the girls almost faint. What happens in those girls' minds? Like, how?

"Hey Nerd, how was your weekend?" Charlie asks and he smirks. "Amazing," I say sarcastically. He smiles. "I thought the same thing, although some girl said to me I was a bad kisser," he says.

"Oh no, she probably didn't mean that,"  I state. Charlie's eyes look at my lips. "Didn't she?" he asks. I shake my head. "I mean, I wasn't there," I say. "Conscious," I add. Charlie smiles. "You still said I'm a bad kisser," he states. I roll my eyes.

~Time Skip~

The bell rings, it's lunchtime. I run to the cafeteria with Yas, Alex, and Sam. I'm so hungry. I'm also hungry but now I feel like my stomach would disappear if I don't eat. I don't want my stomach to disappear, I need it.

I grab my lunch and start to eat. Some people walk by and greet us. I recognize them from the party. I guess it was a good idea to throw a party, cuz a lot of people are suddenly nice to me.

Nova, June, and Farah walk by. "Look who it is, Jennifer the Drunk," Nova says. "Be careful, one Truth or Dare and she drinks all of the alcohol at the party," she continues. I frown. "Why are you talking like that?" I ask her.

"I heard some rumors about the party where we weren't invited," Nova says. "Yeah, well, it was a stupid party anyway so you didn't miss anything," I state. "The rumors tell me something different. A lot of people liked the party a lot," June says.

I roll my eyes. "C'mon guys, I didn't invite you to this party, what's the deal. Next party, I'll invite you," I say. Nova puts her hand on her hip. "We won't come," she says. I scoff. "Fine, then you don't come," I say.

Nova walks away and June and Farah follow her. That are not the friends I had last year. What happened to them? Are they so jealous?

I know this chapter is a bit short and not that interesting but the drama continues soon. I have a lot planned for you guys! I hope you're gonna like it. *evil laugh*
