It's a new day. Charlie and I walk hand in hand into the school. I see some people staring at us. I feel so proud. I am Charlie's girlfriend. The King of the school. I look into his eyes and kiss him on the cheek.

Charlie smirks and looks at me. "You're so beautiful," he says, which makes me blush. "You're handsome too," I laugh. "I know," Charlie says playfully. I giggle and we walk to our classroom.

Right before the door of the classroom, Charlie grabs me and pushes me to the lockers behind us. "I know something we can do instead of going to the lesson," he says as he stands right in front of me.

He is close, so close that I can smell the laundry detergent he uses. I nervously laugh.

What does he mean?!

Charlie leans forward and kisses me passionately. "Can I take you?" he asks after the kiss. "Where to?" I ask. "You'll see," he says and he takes me outside.

"We'll miss the lesson, we can't miss the lesson," I say. "Believe me, you can miss one lesson," Charlie says. "You are the smartest girl I've ever met." My cheeks go red. "Thank you," I whisper.

Charlie smiles and we walk into the street. "Where are you bringing me?" I ask. "Don't be so impatient, we're almost there," Charlie replies. We go left into a bystreet I've never been before.

Charlie seems to know this place very well. He walks further and he turns into a firebreak. "Are you sure we can walk here?" I ask. "No," Charlie teases. Is he joking?

When we've walked through the whole firebreak we arrive at a big fence. Charlie takes me about ten feet to the right and there is a big hole in the fence. "No, no, no," I start. "We're not going in there, are we?"

Charlie smirks. "Of course we are." My eyes widen. "Hey, don't be scared, I'm here," Charlie says. I smile and Charlie helps me through the fence. "Why is this place fenced?" I ask.

"There are killer clowns walking around here," Charlie replies. I freeze. "What?!" I shout. "Shhh, you'll wake them," Charlie shushes. "You're kidding, right?" I ask, terrified. My voice shakes.

Charlie puts his arms around me. "Yeah, I'm kidding. I don't want you to be scared," he says concerned. I smile slightly. "Damn you, I thought I was gonna die," I joke. Charlie chuckles. "I'll never let anything bad happen to you," he says.

"I promise."

We walk back to the school. When we arrive, it's a break. I walk straight to Yas, Alex, and Sam and Charlie follows me. "Do I even want to know what happened?" Yas asks when she sees us.

I laugh. "I've only known you for a little while, but I think you always want to know what happens," I chuckle. "You're right, spill the tea," she says. "No," I say. Yas frowns. "You're not even telling your best friend?"

Wait... Yas doesn't even know that we're together. Damn.

"Well, let's start with a small announcement," I say. "Charlie is my boyfriend." Yas's eyes widen. "I knew it! You're so cute together," she says. I smile and I look at my handsome boyfriend. He's right behind me.

He is so protective, I never thought he would care that much about someone. One of his hands is on my hip. As if he wants to make sure that I don't run away without him. I will never run anywhere without him. I'll always take him. Anywhere.

"Shall we go to my friends now?" Charlie suggests. I nod. "My friends can come too, right?" I ask. "Of course," Charlie smiles. "C'mon guys," I say and Yas, Alex, and Sam follow us to the cool-people-table.

Alex grabs my arm. "Jenn, can I talk to you?" he asks. I turn around. "Of course, what's wrong?" I ask. "You being with Charlie," Alex says. I frown. "C'mon, Jenn, you know he's the biggest player in the world," he says.

"You know why he and Yas broke up?" Alex asks. I shake my head. "She saw him kissing another girl," Alex says. "While they were together," he adds. I sigh. "He's not like that anymore, he loves me now," I say.

"Fine, if that is what you think," Alex says. "Just know that I'm here for you, if he does anything to you, I'll- I'll-," he says. "Don't finish that," I say. "Thank you, but I think I can handle it," I smile and I walk toward Charlie.

Charlie smiles at me and I sit next to him. He puts his arm around me and looks into my eyes. "What was that? Was he being mean to you?" Charlie asks. I smile. "No, it's fine," I say.

Charlie kisses me and the bell rings. "Let's go, darling," he says and I giggle. We stand up and Charlie grabs my hand. My hand feels safe in his big strong hands. We walk toward the classroom.

Dana shows up behind me and taps my shoulder. "I need you for a second," she says. I smile at Charlie. "You go, I'll be there in a minute," I say and Charlie lets go of my hand and walks into the classroom.

"Jenn, I know that I still need to pay you back, but I will. I just need some more," Dana says. "O- Okay, what do you need?" I ask shocked. "One hundred," Dana replies. "What?!" I state.

"I know, I know, it's a lot," Dana says. "You're just the only person I can ask, my parents would kill me." I look at her concerned. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Yeah, I'll be fine, I just need to get my shit together," she replies. "I just need some money."

I open my wallet and give her the last money in it, exactly one hundred. "Please use it wisely," I say. "I- I will. I'll try," Dana says. "I'll pay you back." She walks to her classroom.

I don't know a lot about how other people screw their lives but I do know one thing. She is screwed.

I walk to the classroom and take a seat next to Charlie. I smile at him and he smiles back. The teacher starts the lesson and I pay attention.

Okay, I have no idea what to write in the author's note anymore... Just let me know what you think! Thanks for reading and I'll see you next chapter!
