~13 Years Later~
I look at myself through the mirror. I don't feel like myself. I feel like I'm an angel in my big white dress. Yas made a beautiful braid in my hair. I think I'm gonna cry but I can't cause my make-up is too pretty.
"Jenn, are you coming?" I hear my mother shout. I take a deep breath, grab my flowers, and walk to my mum. "You look-," she starts and she takes a second to complete the sentence. "Beautiful."
I smile. I feel beautiful. My dad walks toward us and when he sees me he starts to cry. "I wish I could stay the most important man in your life," he states.
"We're past that moment for a long time, Dad," I laugh.
After a little group hug, I walk into the big room where everyone is waiting. I hear some gasps when I enter the room. I shyly smile and walk to the front of the room where my fiance is waiting for me.
"You look- awesome," he whispers and I smile. "You look great too," I state.
The civil servant looks at the two of us. "Alexander William Green, do you take Jennifer Mary Johnson as your wife until death separates you?" he asks.
"I do," Alex answers.
"Jennifer Mary Johnson, do you take Alexander William Green as your husband until death separates you?" the civil servant continues.
"I do," I answer.
Two people walk into the room with our rings. Alex grabs mine and puts it around my finger. I grab his ring and put it around his finger. It fits. I sigh in relief.
It would be very awkward if it didn't.
"Then, Alexander, you may kiss your bride," the civil servant says. Alex leans forward and kisses me. My inner self is screaming. I'm married! Now my boyfriend isn't just my boyfriend anymore, he's my husband.
I look into the room. Yas, Sam, and David are in the first row next to my parents and my two girls, Chelsey and Stacey. They're both three years old and they're sitting in their little cute pink dresses.
The music starts and everyone starts to dance. Alex takes me to the middle of the room and we start to dance. I look into the eyes of my husband and I smile. He's perfect.
A few songs later, Alex went to get some drinks and Yas walked to me. "Congrats, you two are amazing!" she states. "Thanks, Yas," I state. "And you look so pretty, for real," Yas says.
A girl walks toward me. I recognize her face. It's Nova. I haven't talked to her for so long. She looks very pretty now, her mean smile has changed into a sweet smile.
She shakes my hand and looks into my eyes. The look says everything. All the sorry's she should have said are said. I smile and she smiles back. We're okay now.
Alex comes back and stares into my eyes. "What?" I giggle. "I think I've found you a nickname," he states. I frown. "As long as it isn't Muffin, I'm okay with it," I laugh. "What is it?" I ask when he doesn't answer.
"My Nerd."
