POV Felix
I hear a knock at the door. Yes, finally! I couldn't wait until Jenn came, she makes my movie nights so much better. I open the door and look at Jenn. Her style has changed. A lot. I like her better when she wears comfy clothes.
It makes her feel safer. Then she shines and smiles which makes me so happy.
"You look great," I say. Jenn smiles and blushes. "I was tired of all the clothes Charlie made me wear," she says. "What?!" I state. "He made you wear that?"
"Yeah, he's a psycho," Jenn states. "What happened?" I ask shocked. "If he did anything to her, I'm gonna kill him. Nobody touches my girl. Eh- that sounded a bit weird maybe...
"He tried to own me, and succeed," she says. "Why didn't you tell me?" I ask her. "I thought it was my fault. He made me feel like he was the only one who cared about me. Although, he was the only one who didn't care about me," she replies.
What should I do? Can I hug her? Wouldn't that be too weird? I could pat her back like your mum does when you're upset. But that's weird. I feel like such a bad friend right now.
"I think you broke up with him, didn't you?" I ask. Jenn nods and I awkwardly smile. "Do you still want to watch a movie?" I ask carefully. Jenn shakes her head. "I'm not really in the mood," she says.
"I get that," I state. "Do you want to talk?" I ask. "Nah, Yas, Sam, and Alex already talked to me about everything. I just want to forget it as soon as possible."
"What do you want from me?" I ask. "I'd do anything, you know that," I add. Jenn smiles. "I know."
"Can we just talk?" she asks. "Like friends. Not about what happened to me but just stupidly talking about random things like fandoms and stuff."
I nod and smile. "That sounds good," I state. "So did you know that Evanna Lynch made some of Luna Lovegood's jewelry?" I state. Jenn chuckles. "She did?" she asks. "Uh-huh, you can see that in some of the movies," I state.
"Oh, I know another fun fact," I state. "Rowling created Quidditch after a fight with her boyfriend," I say. Jenn's face drops. "Oh no, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-," I stutter. "It's okay," Jenn states but I can see by the tears in her eyes that she's not okay.
"Maybe, I'm gonna create an amazing sport now, just like J.K. Rowling," she smiles. "Let your fantasy come to life," I chuckle. Jenn stands up and goes outside and I follow her.
Jenn grabs a massive leaf and hands it to me. "You have to collect the acorns with this magical leaf," she says. I laugh. "How do I do that?" I ask. Jenn grabs a twig and some acorns.
She throws one of the acorns into the sky and beats it with the twig. The acorn flies straight toward me and I grab it just before it hits my eyes. I put the acorn into the leaf and Jenn throws another one into the sky.
We played the game for a little while. The score was who first had ten acorns. I had ten out of fifteen acorns in my leaf but Jenn had ten out of thirteen.
I lie on the ground and Jenn lies next to me. We're both panting and chuckling. I'm gonna tell her. I'm gonna tell her now.
"I love you."
The words were out of my mouth before I could think about it twice. Jenn looks at me confused. "What?" she asks. "I- uh- I love you," I say and smile embarrassed.
It's true. I've loved her since the very moment I saw her. I know she would never like me back but I couldn't stop liking her. And with the Movie-Nights it got worse, or better, just the way you see things.
Now I always think about Jenn. Dylan told me I was being stupid and I probably am. But just when I see her. Everything stops. She is the only one. I love her.
"Uhm, I don't really know what to say," Jenn says. "I mean I love you as a friend but not like- yeah-," she adds. Ouch. Friendzoned.
"I didn't know you liked me, since when?" Jenn asks. "Since I saw you," I reply and I look into her eyes.
I still like her.
I will always like her.
Oi. I'm sorry for all the Fenn lovers. Friendzone. Painful place.
I hope you liked the chapter even though it was short. And I hoped you liked the song. It's from Cielo Grande, anyone watched that series? No? Okay.
Love, Anna <3
