my husband lost his job due. i couldn't believe it. i was a stay at home mom and now i knew it would be a while until he got another job again. i had to step up and focus on getting one and working some hours in order to support this family. the bills don't pay itself.
me and elijah agreed that he would stay home and take care of amanda while i worked. fine by me because somebody gotta watch her. i needed up finding a job a week later. the pay was good and i would be working 5 days a week and get saturday and sunday. i would be working at an office and sometimes it required for me to work over night to do some extra paper work.
it would be tough having to do it but the money is good and if supports and pays our bills, i ain't complaining.
- my first shift starts tomorrow and i need a good impression. doing the work and not showing up late. can't have these clients already whispering or even gossiping about me.
i walked in 5 minutes early and was greeted by my boss.
"ah, so glad you could make it mrs smith. lemme show you to your office" my boss walked in front of me as i followed him to where he was taking me. we arrived about a minute later and everything looked so neat and nice. it looked clean to that was good. I was not about to work in a dirty ass office.
"thank you mr. campbell i'll get started on some work right away"
"that's the spirt! i'll check up on ya in a bit" he patted my shoulder and walked away to whatever else he had going on at this job.
the office was big but the building i worked at was of course bigger. not to mention very nice as well. this is the kind of job i need anyways.
now i gotta pay those bills whenever they come in. ugh...
