"whatchu tryna do today baby?" elijah wrapped his arm around me as we sat on the couch.
"we could go out for ice cream. just like we did when we first started going out?" i looked at him with ab smile and i could see he was to.
"taking us back to the good ol' days huh?" he said with a laugh.
"you know i got to. gotta remind you ima still be that same woman you met" i laid my head on his shoulder. we went to get ice cream later on in the day. we went to the same ice cream that we went to on our first date and it was just as memorable as it was today.
i felt the same way i did when i see him. my feelings will never change for this man. he has been through me thick and thin and i will forever love him for that.
this man is my whole world...
we may share a kid together but we share a love and bond together that i'll never experience with anybody else.
"i texted kayla to come over and babysit amanda tonight because i want to take you to those outdoor movies"
"aww babe that's sweet. what movie?"
"it's a romantic comedy so i want to surprise you with it" he kissed my cheek.
"you're the sweetest, thank you"
"no problem, baby. gotta treat my girl like the queen you are" he rested his hand on my thigh and rubbed it. i loved the feeling and smiled to myself as my husband continued to drive the way home. everything always feel better with him and my daughter. i'm so grateful for them. things would've been a lot different if i had them in my life.
