chrissy came in town for the next few days to see me and kayla. it was so good after seeing her again that all the emotions finally filled up and i start to cry tears of joy.
we all did a group hug and got ready to hit the club good times and partied all night until it was past 12am. i texted elijah to let him know i was okay and that i'd be home at 2am and he said he was okay with it and to just have fun.
ugh i love this man so much!
when i arrived at 2am i was so exhausted. my feet ached and body hurt from dancing on the night floor all night long. totally worth it though because it was still fun regardless and i don't regret it at ALL!
i walked up the stairs to my room and slipped on my pjs and quietly as i could. i didn't want to wake up amanda or elijah who was sleeping. i'd be listening to her cry for hours and that would cause lack of sleep on us all.
getting back in my cozy bed instantly made my body feel warm. big hands wrapped around my waist and pulled me close to a warm body.
"hey baby" his voice was groggy so he was half asleep. i didn't say nothing back and just fell asleep right there with him. everything felt alright in that moment.
- in the morning i had to go to work of course. gotta get that money in order to pay these bills! i woke up early and kissed my daughter and husband goodbye. i'll see them at 10 o'clock tonight. it was hard having to leave them and i wanted to be there for my daughter always but this isn't a forever thing.
i arrived at work and wasn't late this time. i sat down in my office and got to work. about a half hour later a woman who also works here knocked on the wall to get my attention. i looked up from my computer.
"yes, how i can help you?" i asked in a kind voice. she smiled and handed me some paper work.
"thank you" i took the papers from her and reviews them. she walked away and left me there alone in my office once again. ugh, more paper work.
gotta get done though...
on lunch break me and jackson discussed our presentation that we had to come up with to present to our client. it was a big one to so we couldn't let our boss down. he would be absolutely livid.
"do you have it done?" i asked him pulling out mine. he nodded and pulled his out to. wew that was a relief. me and jackson was presenting this together so we really couldn't mess up. he would do some and i would do the other half and we would put it together and present it.
"we really gotta stay focused luna we cannot let mr harvey down" jackson said. mr harvey was our boss' name and if we let him down and do anything to make him regret us presenting this project, we just might get fired. and i cannot afford that.
