Y/N looked at Cirilla like she was an angel.

That night, Y/N was taken to a room and he was subjected to the procedure. He...wanted this, it made Cirilla happy, so it made him happy. He screamed however in agony as the machines got to work, as they injected something into him that made him feel like he was on cloud nine.

Cirilla stood and smiled as she saw he was doing better than the previous subjects.

"He's made it through the worst of it. The drug should last for good now, Y/N is now first Super Soldier to come from the Orphanage facility, and he is mine." Cirilla said proudly into her tape recorder.

1 Day Later:

Y/N woke up for the first time since the procedure, he was confused, he tried to pick up a glass of water but was having difficulty getting a steady grip on it. He gave up and tried to walk only to fall over, it was like he was learning to walk for the first time all over again, when Y/N got the hand of it he looked into a mirror he saw his eyes were had blood around them but it looked like it had been wipe away while he was unconscious, he was feeling an intense pain all over, he was suffering from one of the worst headaches he had ever experienced and it felt like his bones were aching. Moving felt like his body was re-learning about itself.

"This is Cirilla's log. The side effects of completing the augmentations have varied, as the subject's brain re-learned how to move their body with faster reflexes and stronger muscles. The subject has experienced neurological confusion that included falling over, exaggerated reflexes, and difficulty grabbing and holding objects. The subject has experienced bleeding eyes, intense pain, constant headaches, and aches in the bones. But in the days since waking up and adapting to their changes, the side effects have diminished completely. Out of the 100 subjects, only Y/N...Only 0-8-4 has survived. He will be put into training immediately and the he will be ready for combat." Cirilla said into a tape recorder as she watched her achievement begin to walk for the first time since the procedure.

4 Weeks Later:

Cirilla was watching the CCTV of the Avengers compound as Y/N walked in, she watched as the clone walked outside and the team looked confused. He began to move faster once he spotted Natasha and Wanda, he wasn't slowing as they grew even more confused by his behaviour, he got close to Natasha and pulled a knife out, he was about to stab Nat in the gut when Wanda saw into his mind and used her powers to restrain Y/N, the team looked in shock as the version of Y/N that had been staying with them for the past six weeks turned on them and knocked Wanda out, the real Y/N stood up and went to attack Natasha again only for Nat to disarm him and look at the clone as Pietro punched them hard enough to cause them to bleed, but their blood wasn't normal, it was white blood, it looked like milk. Natasha pulled her pistol out and shot the clone in the head before turning the gun on Y/N who was stood up and restrained by Steve and Pietro.

"Y/N?" Natasha asked as Fury stepped out of the compound.

"It's a magical place." Y/N muttered, Fury heard it and looked in shock.

"Take him inside, now. Put him in a cell." Fury ordered as Y/N was knocked out by Steve and thrown in a cell.

"What a waste, still he wasn't as trained thanks to the time frame, but he got close enough, perhaps I should train him next time, there will be a next time, I promise you...Y/N Romanoff." Cirilla said as she shut off the screen.

Back at the compound Natasha was looking into the cell as Fury, Barton and Hill all stood next to her.

"It's a magical place." Y/N kept repeating to himself as Fury and Hill were getting increasingly worried, Natasha noticed.

"What has happened to my son?" Natasha demanded as Fury went to lie but Hill interrupted.

"He was subjected to something called project TAHITI. It's a magical place, that's the trigger phrase. We used it to brainwash people, erase their memories and replace them with new ones, in this case it appears his memories have been replaced with orders to kill you and Wanda." Hill said as Fury half glared at her. "She needs to know this Fury. You want your Grandson to be stuck as a gibbering mess the rest of his life?"

"That's not your call, Hill." Fury said as Hill shook her head.

"You best hope we find a way to help him Fury, or you're dead." Natasha said as she stormed out of the room and to Wanda who was awake. Pietro was looking at Wanda as the girl tried to think about what happened.

"How is he?" Wanda asked as Natasha sat next to Wanda.

"He was brainwashed, all his memories were erased and replaced with orders to kill you and me. We've done scans and detected that he had had augmentation to almost every aspect of his physiology. He's like Steve MK2." Natasha said as Wanda looked to Pietro.

"I could try using my magic on him, that might help him remember who he is. At the very least it can give us some answers." Wanda said as Pietro looked to Natasha.

"I'll be there too. To keep an eye on them both." Pietro said as Natasha nodded.

When Wanda walked into the detention area she saw Y/N sitting in the corner of his cell, he was a gibbering wreck, Cirilla was constantly in his mind saying the trigger phrase.

"Y/N, I'm Wanda, I'm going to try and help you." Wanda said as she held her hands up, Y/N went to attack but she used her powers to restrain him as she approached him, Wanda placed her hands on Y/N's temples and the images of what had happened hit her like a train, she recoiled away and yelled in pain, she looked at him as she went back to searching his mind, she was sifting through his entire brain looking for the old Y/N, looking for anything. "Happiest memory. When you met your mother. Second, happiest, when you met me and my brother."

Natasha watched as she saw her son and Wanda relive the memories.

"Come on, you are Y/N Romanoff, not 0-8-4." Wanda said to herself as she saw what happened to make the changes to his body, she saw the TAHITI procedure, when she was finished Wanda fell to her knees as she wept from what she had seen in his mind, Pietro rushed in to comfort his sister before looking up at Y/N who was unconscious. When Wanda had recovered she stood up and hugged Y/N hoping he could take some comfort from it. "You don't belong to her. She can't hurt you anymore."

"What happened?" Pietro asked as Wanda looked at Y/N and felt sorry for him.

"...He had his heart ripped out." Wanda said as she walked up to Y/N and released him before she and Pietro left the room. Natasha just looked at her son on the floor, defeated and broken. As Nat went to leave she stopped when she heard Y/N speak.

"Mom, help..."
