The team arrived back at the compound and headed inside, Tony began to employ people  to work on rebuilding the bombed out compound. Meanwhile Y/N was looking at the wreckage his room was left as after the attack, he was mostly trying to tidy it up fixing what he could. Wanda was using her powers to help him with the tidying, Tony was also bringing in as many supplies for Y/N who was deciding to build his room back himself. The whole team pitched in on rebuilding the compound, with Thor using his hammer to put the shelves up, Steve and Y/N were moving most of the heavier materials, Natasha was overseeing the health and safety aspects, Pietro was making food for the team as they all worked on separate areas of the compound, Tony and the Iron Legion were rebuilding the training areas. Clint was rebuilding the detention centre. Bruce was rebuilding the labs. Y/N was mostly working on the layout and design of the new compound when he wasn't actually building it, The team had to live in tents while they were all still building the compound.

"Mom, where's Steve?!" Y/N called out as Rogers passed him.

"On your left." Rogers said as he smirked.

"Why would you ask me?" Nat asked confused before seeing Y/N's smirk. "You little asshole-"

"Language, one dollar in the jar mom." Y/N said cutting her off as Natasha growled and put the note in the swear jar.

Wanda and Y/N were taking a break from the building.

"So, we never got to finish our conversation from before, all of this, happened." Wanda said as Y/N turned to her and smiled. "When are we going to tell the rest of the team about us?"

Y/N let out a long pause as he considered his options.

"how about when the compound is built? Shouldn't be more than a week or two." Y/N suggested as Wanda nodded and put her hand on Y/N's cheek before leaning in and kissing him. Y/N was about to return the kiss but they were called over by Natasha.

"Hey, Romeo...come on." Nat called as she looked to Wanda from the distance. "You too Juliet."

Y/N and Wanda smirked before heading back to the build site and continuing with the work.

The compound was making astounding progress over the next few days, the new facilities were looking like they were coming along well, Y/N had made sure to build a bigger armoury, an underground complex designed to keep the bare essentials safe for the Avengers if another attack happened, the underground section had almost all of the same facilities as the compound above, with a few others such as a larger hangar, a larger HARM room, and an entire section for R&D to make new equipment. As the last few areas of the compound were built the team congratulated each other on the team effort, with Y/N receiving a lot of praise.

"C'mon guys, the compounds rebuilt, I could hold a party for this, surely." Tony said as Y/N shook his head.

"You can if you like Tony, but I won't be there." Y/N stated as he stood up and headed over to the fridge and got a drink.

"Wiseass." Tony muttered as Y/N turned.

"Rogers, he said a bad language word." Hills voice called out as she and Fury arrived.

"Beat me by one second." Y/N said as Hill smirked.

"Well, great minds think alike." Hill said as Fury looked at Y/N and gave a nod of acknowledgement to him. Y/N turned to the entrance door and saw Ross walking in and Y/N looked at him like he was going to punch Ross if anything happened.

"Romanoff." Ross acknowledged as Y/N glared at him.

"Ross."

"There's the Romanoff family glare right there." Hill quipped as Wanda talk to Y/N in his mind and order him to 'calm down.'
