As Y/N walked out of the compound with the Avengers following him, he was holding his assault rifle, with a shotgun magnetised to the back of his armour and a pistol magnetised to his right thigh. He was fuelled on by one thing, living to bring back Wanda and everyone else lost to the snap, and then to kill Thanos.
The team was with him, more than that, they followed him, he had taken over as leader in this time where he was the expert. As they all walked out of the compound they were greeted by a Covenant dropship deploying troops, and they really did look like they did in the games, apart from one thing, there was a new species in the Covenant, the Chitauri, and more importantly, Sal'Loeb was there, all the memories of the fight against Thanos flooded back. But Y/N kept his cool, he waited for the first move, they may be here peacefully.
"Y/N Romanoff, you have...an AI...give her to me, now." Sal'Loeb said as Y/N looked to the team.
"Why do you want her?" Y/N asked.
"To activate the rings--"
"The Rings aren't in this universe, hell, the Covanant shouldn't be. And my AI can't activate the rings." Y/N said plainly. Sal'Loeb activated his sword before taking a nearby Elite Zealots energy sword and passing it to Y/N, who caught it effortlessly.
"I challenge you, if I win, I get the AI, and Earth dies, if I lose, we go in peace." Sal'Loeb said as Y/N activated the sword, and remembered his training, he took position and waited for Sal'Loeb to make the move.

Then the move came, Y/N sidestepped out of the way and went for an attack but it was parried by Sal'Loeb who went for the counter, but Y/N blocked the attack and shoulder barged Sal'Loeb, knocking him off balance before going for a stab, Loeb managed to dodge and tried to bring his sword down to cut Y/N's hand off but the boy's reactions were too fast, he swiped at empty air and received a kick to the face followed by the energy sword grazing across his face, leaving a large cut across his face.
"Well struck, but I'm not dead, and I intend on taking that AI." Sal'Loeb said as Y/N took a more determined stance.
"That's not gonna happen." Y/N growled before sending an overhand attack at Loeb who ducked and tried to stab Y/N, but the boy avoided the attack and kicked the sword from his enemies hand, he held the sword to Sal'Loebs throat. "Do you yield?"
"Never to a human." Loeb said as he kicked Y/N back and retrieved his sword, the fight began anew, with the two locking blades and trying to use strength, when Y/N had the idea, he kneed Sal'Loeb in the side before elbowing him in the face. Y/N slashed the blade at Sal'Loebs leg, cutting it slightly before slashing Sal'Loebs back, a large instantly cauterised wound opened on Sal'Loebs back. Y/N stood over his opponent and held the energy sword to the neck of Sal'Loeb.
"Surrender." Y/N said calmly as Sal'Loeb drew a small knife, it scraped Y/N's armour and sparks flew from the friction. Y/N was quick to disarm his attacker, reversing the attack and grabbing the knife from the aliens hands, he shoved the knife into the stomach of Sal'Loeb. As his opponent fell to the floor Y/N picked him up and carried him to the covenant troops. "Take him, leave and never return."
Y/N said calmly before heading back to the Avengers, they watched as the Covenant ground forces left, but the supercarrier made no movement, Y/N had the feeling that they were planning to invade for real this time...
