Y/N and Wanda were lying on their backs next to each other in Central park, staring up at the night sky, stargazing.

"That one?" Wanda asked pointing up at the a group of stars.

"Orions belt." Y/N said as he looked up at the sky. Wanda smiled.

"How do you know all of these?" She asked as Y/N remembered.

"Me and mum used to stargaze, well she would, I'd just be messing about with Liho." Y/N said as Wanda looked at him confused. "Our cat."

Wanda caught on and laughed.

"Hard to imagine Natasha having a cat." Wanda said as she looked Y/N in the eyes.

"She was really good with it actually." Y/N said, leaving out the fact that it just one day stopped coming to visit them. "So, what about you? Any hobbies?"

"I like classic comedies, hanging out with...friends and studying." Wanda said as Y/N smiled. They gazed at each other for a moment and began to get closer, they were about to kiss when Y/N and Wanda's phones went off. The saw it was Nat telling them to start heading home, they had school starting again tomorrow, after their 'holiday'.

They both awkwardly smiled and when gather their jackets that they had used to lie down on.

"Right...let's go." Wanda said awkwardly as Y/N thought of something.

"Sure, you wanna grab a meal on the way back?" Y/N asked timidly.

'He looks cute when he gets flustered.' Wanda thought to herself as she smiled at him.

As they stepped into Delmars they got themselves a sandwich each. Y/N went to leave when Delmar laughed.

"Hey, Y/N, lovers discount." Delmar said passing Y/N a token earning a laugh from the boy.

"Wiseass." Y/N said as he and Wanda left the shop, they looked up to see a figure in a blue and red...onesie? They were swinging through the city chasing after an out of control car. Both Y/N and Wanda arrived at the compound just in time before Natasha's deadline. When they arrived Wanda went straight to her room to catch some sleep.

"Let me guess, you didn't tell her?" Natasha said as Y/N shook his head.

"We were about to kiss but then you interrupted us with the text." Y/N said as Natasha started drinking a milkshake.

Y/N headed up to his room after finishing his sandwich and grabbing a bottle of chocolate milk. As he lay on his bed awake Y/N was thinking about the day he'd just had with Wanda, he was twiddling his thumbs and thinking.

Meanwhile Wanda was doing the same in her room, laying on her bed twiddling her thumb, thinking of her day out with Y/N. She was thinking about the moment where they nearly kissed, she couldn't hear Y/N's thoughts.

'Strange, I can usually hear his thoughts.' Wanda thought to herself when she decided to take advantage of the silence and went to sleep, soon Y/N was asleep too.

Meanwhile in the living room Natasha and Steve were watching the TV together on the couch, with a bowl of popcorn between them. Steve looked to Natasha and plucked up the courage to ask Natasha a question he'd been avoiding for a while.

"Hey, um, Nat, you wanna...go out together sometime?"  Steve said as Natasha's was caught off guard by the question.

'Is Steve asking me out on a...date?' Nat asked herself as she thought he only saw her as a good friend, she looked at Steve for a moment.

"What? Like on a date?" She asked, hoping it didn't put him off the idea of it being a date.

"...yeah." Steve answered.

"Okay. It's a date." She said, instantly putting on her husky seductive voice.

The next morning Y/N woke up and headed down to the kitchen and made himself a bowl of cereal, Wanda walked in and made herself a bowl of her own cereal, she went to eat if and felt funny, she looked at the cereal and sniffed it suspiciously before eating it.

Y/N just observed the moment with a raised eye brow.

"You good there?" Y/N asked as Wanda nodded.

"Yeah, just a funny feeling." Wanda said as Y/N gave and affirmative hum. They continued with their morning routine and headed to school with Pietro following them.

When they reached school Y/N saw Peter had healed, the group was talking about the incident while everyone around them was going about their daily lives non the wiser to the fact an army attacked the school less than a month ago thanks to the memory wipe SHIELD carried out on all of the witnesses.

Y/N and Wanda were talking in classes together when flash came up to him and hit Y/N in the face, Y/N knew it was inevitable. Wanda went to intervene but Y/N gestured to her to stop. Flash was bound to be this way, Y/N preferred it was himself rather than Wanda or any of his friends.

As Y/N climbed to his feet Wanda saw a small cut on Y/N's lip, she grabbed a handkerchief and used it to clean the small speck of blood on Y/N's lip.

When they reached class Y/N saw the looks that Peter and his friends were giving him.

"Why'd you let him do it man?" Peter asked as Y/N looked at him and shook his head.

"Better me than my friends." Y/N said as he looked at his books and began to go through the classes like he would on a normal day. Wanda looked at Y/N and smiled.

At the end of the day Y/N and the twins went home and saw Natasha and Steve laughing and talking quietly, they brought up something that they had done while the kids were at school. They then saw both Steve and Natasha lean in and share a kiss.

"What. The. Fu..!"
