Episode 5 - hunted

The Tennysons had stopped in the middle of nowhere as Gwen stands in the middle of a giant structure, cans and old tires hung around her and at different angles. Gwen took a deep breath as she activated the omnitrix and she changed into Diamondhead. She aims her arm up and her arm shifts into a bunch of crystals are some crystals start shooting out of it. she tried to hit all of the cans but as she kept on shooting, she found that she was missing more shots than she was hitting.

Gwen: I don't get it, what am I doing wrong?

Max: you're rushing into it. you need to slow down and stop trying to force it.

Ben: yeah, you need to figure out where the can is around you, you need to aim the shot up and try to take the wind and other environmental factors into account.

Gwen: if you think it's so easy, why don't you come and stand here?

Ben: sure, just hand over the watch and I'll do it for you.

Max: stop teasing her ben.

Gwen: I can normally make theses shots.

Ben: you're living crystals, maybe the light is reflecting inside of you or something.

Gwen: that's not how light works.

Max: all right cut it off you two. Ben if you're just going to try and get on her nerves then go and wait in the rust bucket.

Ben: that's not fair, I want to be a part of this.

Gwen: just listen to grandpa.

Ben reluctantly heads inside the rustbucket as Gwen takes a moment to catch her breath and she tries shooting the different things again. Starting to get over confident as she charged forward and max set of some tracks. Gwen lost track of where she was and she was hit by a tire and as she got herself up, she timed out.

Gwen: I don't get it; I was doing so well.

Max: you tried to brute force your way through it.

Gwen: that usually works when I'm an alien, and I know I can take on some powerful guys so I don't know why something like this is stopping me.

Max: remember that might isn't always right. Maybe give the small guy a shot every once in a while.

Gwen: yeah, you're right.

Max: come on, I need to refuel the rustbucket anyway. Let's hit the road.

Max presses a button and the whole structure just falls apart and the trio get into the rustbucket and they drive off. Meanwhile onboard vilgax's ship, three bounty hunters are fighting to try and get hired for the bounty. One of them was a giant mechanical crab with a massive claw and his head retracted inwards as something flew close by his head. The other one was wearing thick Armor and from it shot out a few different arms, hidden away under the purple Armor, each of the arms holding some kind of weapons that six six used to destroy some of the robots they were fighting. The final one kept his face hidden but had a strong build and was riding on a hover board. He used blasters to shoot the different robots while he flew around on his hover board. Impressed by the display, vilgax heired all three of them to retrieve the omnitrix for him.

Meanwhile the group continued to drive through the desert, the rustbucket just spontaneously broke down and max went outside to check on it.

Ben: is everything good out here grandpa?

Max: no, it looks like the engines busted.

Gwen: maybe upgrade can give the rustbucket a boost.

Max: it's too risky, it might revile your secret identity if you time out before we reach a mechanic and you have time to hide. I'm sure there's somebody around here who can help.
