Gwen 10

Short: ben's first day back.

As the trio returned to Bellwood, ben's house was first on the ride back. And after getting back home, max walked him to the front door where he met with ben's parents.

Sandra: BEN!

She ran over and gave him a massive hug; ben being embraced about it.

Ben: mom.

Sandra: sorry ben, but we've missed you.

Carl: hey dad.

Max: hi son.

The pair shake hands.

Sandra: could I invite you in for some cake, fresh out of the oven.

Max: maybe another time. I've still got to get Gwen back home.

Carl: all right old man.

Max: who are you calling old?

The pair laugh it off as max returned to the rustbucket.

Sandra: looks like you've got a lot of souvenirs. Can I see some?

Ben opened the box and looked inside of it, and then he closed it.

Ben: it's probably better if we save it for a different day. Got some stuff here that'll be hard to explain.

Cut to inside of the house where we see ben's room, and how it's an absolute mess.

Sandra: now I've left it exactly how you left it when you left. And I want it cleaned before dinner.

Ben: I just got back from vacation.

Sandra: welcome back kiddo.

She left ben to his own devices as he dropped the bags and box on the floor. He leaned against the door, and he pulled out his mask and he started to look through his spells.

Ben: perfect. abiit pulmentum.

His hands were covered in green mana as his room seemed to start cleaning itself.

Ben: and I'll add that the list of reasons summer was awesome. He stretched his arms and lay down on his now clean bed, watching the room clean up around him. However, the next day when he went to school, he was met with a scenario he had seen before. T.J and cash picking on a nerd.

Ben: all right you two back it up.

T.J: and why should we do that?

Ben: you know why.

T.J dropped the nerd and waked off, cash giving him a wave before following T.J.

Oscar: what did you do to them to get them to drop me?

Ben: summer stuff.

Inside the classroom ben sat next to his friends, one of them was Elena and the other was Jonesy

Elena: welcome back. I bet after what you did during summer this is a drastic step back.

Ben: no joke, this is going to be so boring.

Elena: I don't know, after what happened I'm finally happy to be back to some normalcy. But I also wouldn't mind getting some powers of my own.

Jonesy: what are you two talking about?

Ben: we may have bumped into each other on summer vacation.

Jonesy: there wasn't anything to do around here without you two. I kinda just played video games all summer. Mom hated it.

ben: that sounds awesome.

Jonesy: I don't suppose that either of you got to see any of those alien heroes.

Ben: more then you'd think.

Elena: only once. But what a meeting it was.

Jonesy: to bad none of them came here.

Ben: I think they might be showing up here at some point.

Jonesy: seriously what aren't you guys telling me?

Ben and Elena look at each other before we cut to lunch later on, the kids all talking about the different times the aliens had appeared.

Kid 1: my brother was in that burning building when the fiery guy showed up.

Kid 2: nice, I got to see the fight between that freak and the four armed one.

Kid 3: I bet you guys where there for the music festival with the monster weather.

Elene: woah, everybody's talking about her.

Ben: I know right, and not a single mention of her awesome butt kicking partner.

Jonesy: partner? I thought they all worked together.

Ben: right, but they also had a human working with them. He had magic, and a sweet blaster and a hoverboard.

Josey: really, sounds like you're making this guy up.

Ben: what, sharpshot is awesome. When I got to meet him of course.

Jonesy: right.

T.J: maybe more people would know about him if he didn't interrupt our baseball game.

Ben: last time I checked, he and four arms saved you guys and the president from those robots.

Jonesy: all right, I'm way out of the loop here. Somebody needs to tell me what's going on.

Ben: after school.

Cut to later on during final period, in dodge ball where drones started to attack the school. Ben hid behind the bleachers, and he put on his mask. He ran back out and he started blasting them.

Ben: sharpshot will shoot you all down.

Jonesy: who's that?

Elene: the human partner of the aliens that ben was talking about.

Jonesy: where is ben?

As he asked ben turned away for long enough for ben to be hit, sending him flying to the ground, and his mask slipping off. Reacting quickly Elena tried to grab his mask, but as she ran forward something shot out of her fingertips, nobody noticing as they were distracted by ben being reviled that they didn't see the mask being sot back at ben.

Ben: hey, no fair.

The drones then aimed at the children around him and ben casted a mana shield, he got up and put his mask back on. He then shot out mana disks at the drones, managing o take them down.

Ben: so, can nobody tell my grandpa that you guys now about this?

Elena: what where those?

Ben: vilgax's drones. But she Waybig threw him into space.

Elena: is that a new one?

Ben: a new one shows up every week or so. At least when we were on the move and had nothing but time to kill.

Jonesy: you're the human side kick?

Ben: partner.

Elena: and witch one is vilgax?

Ben: the space squid. Lisen guys, I've got to go. Let coach know what happened.

He jumped on his hoverboard, and he flew off through the city, destroying drones until he found vilgax.

Ben: you just couldn't stay in space, could you?

Vilgax: oh, it's you. You're not the one I'm after.

Ben: no, but I'm the one who's going to stop you. Probably.

He started blasting out mana as vilgax just bounced it off or himself by flexing.

Ben: ugh oh.

Vilgax then grabbed ben by the shirt.

Vilgax: maybe I'll make an example out of you.

Before vilgax could do anything else he was slammed into by the rustbucket.
