Back at the campsite where this summer started, the trio had just woken up, ben and max finding that Gwen was missing, although they could hear XLR8's speed in the forest. Walking though it they found Gwen speeding around the area where the omnitrix landed, the pod still being there.
Ben: what are you doing, dweeb?
Gwen: looking to see If I've got an omnitrix key.
Ben: a what?
Gwen: one of the other bens had a key that got him some alien Armor. I wouldn't mind getting it, even if just to keep it away from any villains.
Ben: really, his aliens have Armor? That sounds dumb.
Gwen: it's useful, I'll give it that.
She then timed out.
Gwen: if I have one, it's not around here. But it was good to see this place one last time before heading back to Bellwood.
Max: we really should leave this around here.
Cut to back inside of the rustbucket where the pod was resting on the beds in the back, covered up by blankets while ben and Gwen where packing everything back up.
Gwen: gross, did you ever wash those?
Ben: what, I didn't always have time to wash them.
Gwen: I'm going to miss summer, but I'm not going to miss your annoying habits.
Ben: yeah, this summer was awesome. I don't want it to end.
Max: nothing good comes out of extending a good thing. Besides if summer went on forever then it wouldn't be special.
Gwen: and education is a good thing to have.
Ben: easy for you to say when you can slap that thing and get like 300% more smarter.
Gwen: sorry you have to earn your intelligence, let me just take this thing off.
The pair chuckled as ben pulled out his box of souvenirs. It had Dr Animo's original mutator, a shard of Diamondhead diamond, a small rock from the null void, a few pictures from the many places they'd visited, the golden sumo slammer cards, and much more.
Max: all right, first stop.
Ben: smell you later cuz.
He walked outside of the rustbucket with his bag of clothes, his box of souvenirs and his backpack with all of his sharp shot equipment. After a minute max returned to the rustbucket, looking awkward.
Max: all right pumpkin, let's drop you off back home.
Gwen: finally, the vacation from my vacation needed. Although, I'll probably need to go hero at some point.
Max: let's keep the omnitrix just between us three for now.
Gwen: so, I shouldn't tell my parents about this thing?
Max: the less people who know, the better.
Gwen: literally everybody we've ever fought knows about the watch.
Max: I never told them about my plumber life for a reason. I didn't want to drag them into this, and I didn't want to drag you two into it. Let's just try and lay low.
Gwen: all right grandpas.
Max: I know it'll be hard, but it's for the best.
After a cut we find outside of Gwen's house with her mother waiting outside for her.
Natalie: hello gweny. Hi max.
Max: nice to see you again Natalie.
Natlie: did the plan work. Are they still a nightmare?
