Gwen 10

Episode 12: the mind of another.

We start with the queen waking up with a massive bright light in her face. As she tried to escape she found herself in an orb of some kind as her eyes adjusted she saw the group from the last episode, now along with copper who was holding a tablet like device.

Cooper: yep, the queen's taken over.

Ben: is she...

Cooper: Elena's left an imprint on the queen. If I could force a hard reboot Elena's personality may be able to take over, or we may loose her all together.

Max: then we should hold off and see if you can do anything to bring Elena back.

Cooper: even if I did, the queen's used up all of Elena's cells. Even if we did bring her back, she wouldn't be organic.

Gwen: what caused this anyway? Last time we where here you said she was stable.

Cooper: something must have reactivated her. I don't have an idea what.

The queen began to laugh and ben had his proto-tool drawn.

Ben: got something you want to say?

Queen: you really have no idea do you omnitrix girl? You caused this?

Gwen: what?

Queen: when you used upgrade to merge with the girl, you rebooted me. You put me online. I know all about you and your insecurities. I know everything the girl knew.

Lucy: so why Elena?

Queen: I was forced out of my last host. I had to pick a new one.

Max: any idea how to reverse this?

Cooper: it'll take some time. I'll see what I can make.

Gwen then got a call from Emily.

Gwen: sorry for not calling back, we found Elena and...

Emily: that's awesome and all... but we kinda have a problem back here in Bellwood. You remember that sublimino guy you told me about? I think he's here.

Gwen: that guy? I haven't seen him since that mega mall. What's he doing in Bellwood.

Emily: probably looking for you. And it turns out that Jonesy's girlfriend is looking for him and ben as well.

Gwen: great. I'll be right over.

She hung up with a sigh and turned back to the rest of the group.

Gwen: so, sublimino's back.

Ben: I thought all the bad guys skipped town.

Gwen: and Julie's looking for you two. Probably about sublimino.

Ben turned back to the queen who seemed to just be making herself comfortable.

Jonesy: well I mean, somebody should stay here in case that thing possessing Elena escapes or anything. I doubt cooper here could take her on alone. Even with his crazy techno powers.

Max: Jonesy's right. Pluss if anybody could break through to Elena it's ben.

Ben nodded and pulled the proto-tool off of his shoulder.

Max: now about sublimino...

Cut to Bellwood where we watch sublimino enter into some kind of clock tower. He was mumbling to himself. He was wearing scraps, clearly worse for wear.

Sublimino: I can't believe that alien girl has been here this entire time. No matter, as long as I can get this clock tower to meld with my watch, then I'm all set to destroy her and ruin this town.
