Episode 4 - the tough shot

We start this episode with the trio chasing down an out-of-control bus.

Max: ben, try to fly in and hit the brakes. Gwen, try to get ahead of the buss and try to slow it down. I'll stay back and make sure nobody get's hurt if there thrown out of the bus.

Ben and Gwen nod as ben changes into his sharp shot uniform and Gwen activated the omnitrix and she slammed down on it as she left the rustbucket, changing into XLR8 and she got to the front of the bus and she started pushing against it, using her super speed to push against the force of the buss. Managing to slow it down enough for ben to jump into the bus, finding the criminals who were trying to go faster to compensate for Gwen pushing against them. Ben shot out a few nets and he made it up to the front of the bus, and he managed nock the guy out, using his energy shackle to tie the criminal up, before managing to stop the car.

Ben: no need to thank me, it's all in a day's work for a hero.

Gwen coughed and ben turned around.

Ben: a couple of heroes.

The old people walked over to him and started to remind him why he was happy to leave the retirement village, Gwen just laughed from outside the bus, and she ran inside the rustbucket after grabbing ben.

Ben: once again, another successful mission.

Max: the authorities are on the way; shall we get going?

Ben: yeah, this convention should be grate.

Gwen: why, after what happened with Charmcaster I'm done with magic.

Ben: but you've got to admit that it was cool when I was shooting out magical blasts.

Gwen: yeah, I'll admit it.

She tried to sit down as XLR8 and a few hours later they were in las vagas at the convention. However, out in a cave, Charmcaster was approaching her uncle as she pulled out something from her bag. Something that was as tall as her.

Charmcaster: I'm sorry uncle hex, I found your staff, but I lost everything to that sharp shot, and alien girl.

Hex extended his hand out and the staff came flying into his hand, lighting up as he aimed at the fire. Around hex's chest was 5 medallions, the glow fading, and the fire showed some kind of map. Meanwhile the Tennysons had arrived at the convention and while looking around, ben was looking at the different magical objects and he picked some of them up. As he looked them over, he realised that none of them had real magic. He walked up to one of the counters and asked...

Ben: have you got anything actually magic?

Stall owner: do you think you can handle real magic?

Ben: trust me, I know I can.

Stall owner: then I think this should work for you. I picked it up not to long ago. It was hidden away in a chest in a cave.

He handed him some kind of bracelet with a charm on top of it. ben smiled as he put it on, and he looked it over. The charm was on a green and black bracelet, and he even noticed that if the charm was smaller and further up, he could almost see it being the ultimate version of the omnitrix. However, he felt something surging through him and as he looked down at it, the charm glowed for just a second. He shook it as Gwen called for his help. He ran outside and looked like a helicopter was spinning out of control.

Ben: I'll get my gear.

Gwen: I'll get stinkfly.

Max: I'll get people to safety.

The trio split off as ben managed to change quickly and Gwen slapped down on the omnitrix, and she changed into stinkfly. As she rose into the air, she shot out some goo and she was able to get the blades to stop, and the helicopter came to a halt but the man flying the helicopter fell out of the helicopter and Gwen was too high up to catch the man. Ben was able to fly over, dodging through the falling scraps of flaming metal and the flaming goop, and he managed to get the man to safety.
