The next morning I woke up and Derek and I took a shower together and got ready for work.

Derek took me out for breakfast and we had a great time.

He drove me to work and the first thing I notice is a note on my desk.

Finn, I thought as I opened it.

Dear Alexandra,

You're right. I had my chance and now it's gone. I want to see you happy and if Derek gives you that than so be it.

Who am I to get in the way of that?

I love you Alex, so this is why you won't be seeing so much of me.

I'm backing off. The next time you'll see you'll be in a wedding dress.

Love,

Finn.

I must I stood there and read the note a million times.

He finally let me go?

He broke up with me again?

This didn't seem like Finn.

I put the note in my back pocket and sat down and tried to get caught up on all my work.

Within the hour the studio filled up with people making appointments and buying paintings.

I didn't go to the bakery today. Seeing Finn after the note...was going to be hard.

I spent my time with Derek and we planed our wedding.

*******

Months have passed and I've been making mad money.

I've been planning four weddings at once, remodeling five different houses and all my paintings are on back order because I haven't painted in forever. Devon and Oliver are letting me plan there wedding.

The bakery is amazing. All my employees are so nice and they're doing a fine job at running it.

The weddings were coming up as was mine.

I went with my mom, Kelly, Mrs. Young and Kelly Johnson to go dress shopping.

I still haven't found the right one yet, but we did find a bridesmaid's dress.

The girls and I are going shopping again on Saturday to find my dress.

Finn has been keeping his distance.

I only saw him once and that was to check on the bakery.

He didn't even look at me.

I guess it's really over between us.

I find myself missing him.

Derek and I have no time together. We're both busy with work and stuff.

When we do get together it's just for dinner and sex.

He would make dinner and I'll start the sex or I'll make dinner and he's start the sex.

Nothing more and nothing less.

Lydia has been calling every now and then to talk to Derek.

She's getting really big now.

I saw an article about her in the paper.

I used it to cover the floor as I paint.

Saturday came and the girls and I went to the dress store and looked around.

Nothing.

We then had a food tasting and we met Derek there.

After we picked out the menu the girls and I went to another dress store.

After hours of looking I gave up.

Just as we opened the door to leave the sales lady called us back in.

"Did you find anything?" she asked.

"No," I smiled sadly.

"I think I know the prefect dress for you,"

I followed her and the other followed me.

She showed me a dress and I grinned.

"Perfect,"

I hurried to the changing room and pulled it on.

I smiled at my reflection in the mirror.

I love it.

I opened the door and showed the girls.

They gasped and gawked at me.

"Honey," my mom said tearing up. "You look beautiful,"

I grinned at them. "Thanks mom," I turned to the sales lady. "I'll take it,"

She smiled. "I'll ring you up,"

Here is Alex's dress:
