It was a warm and sunny day, which was an opportunity for a good day to take a walk. I go over to my flower garden, where I normally go in my spare time.
"Hmm, I wonder if there's new flowers growing.." I thought. I walked into the open field and saw some peculiar looking flowers. I kneel down and lightly touch the petal, as I somewhat get a heavy feeling in my heart. "These flowers... Are... White Lillies." I thought to myself, looking sadly at the flowers. The heaviness in my heart gets heavier, as I stare at the flower every passing minute. I start to tear up, sniffling softly. I was deep into a sad thought, until I felt a light tap on my shoulder. ——————- "...Pure Vanilla Cookie, are you alright?" I heard a sharp, bitter voice say. I turn around, only to see Dark Cacao with a somewhat concerned look on his face.
"I... I am alright, I assure y-you.." I mumble, wiping my tears quickly. Dark Cacao shook his head in disbelief, as he sat down right next to me. "Would you mind telling me what you are so sad about?" he asked, putting a hand on my shoulder. I push his arm back lightly and look away. I shake my head no. "You will think it is unnecessary to mope over. As of how childish it sounds."
"I do not think that I will find it childish. If you are upset about something, I may be able to help resolve it." He replied, trying to cheer me up. I look back up at him, with a couple of tears from my eyes. He cups my cheek, attempting to smile. He cannot smile, but i could tell he was trying. As his dark amethyst eyes gaze into mine. I blush slightly as I close my eyes and kiss him passionately.
"Well, I guess I can tell you. But only when we get to the palace." I say. He nods his head, still holding my hand. "Then let us walk, love." He leads me through the grass, the two of us walking off into the distance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 432 words.
