~ Battle of August 3rd Part III ~
Rain had been following the trail of blood left behind on the wet pavement, and when she rounded the corner, her eyes landed on Takemichi who appeared to have just choked out Kiyomasa.
Her eyes flitted to Draken who had been stabbed and was on the ground, her eyes widening in horror. She knew it was probably going to be bad, but not this bad.
'At least he's alive.' She told herself.
The braided boy rose to his feet, clearly about to help Takemichi in his fight, however she wasn't about to let that happen.
Draken saw Rain out of the corner of his eye, running with that murderous look on her face and a small chuckle left his lips as he sat back down again causing Takemichi to look at him concerned.
"Looks like she found us." He muttered, knowing she had his back and would be able to handle things. While he was grateful to Takemichi for trying, he knew that he wouldn't be able to handle it on his own. Rain on the other hand... was a completely different story.
The said girl jumped into the air as she aimed a kick to one of the taller guys in the group, taking him down before he could even react. The others looked to be in complete shock, while her face remained dead calm, a calmness that felt extremely violent.
Terrifying.
"Rain! You bitch!" One of the traitors yelled as he lunged for her, but she aimed a fast chop to his throat causing him to stumble back, reeling from the hit. With his breathing restricted, he panicked, clumsily swinging at her but she ducked, aiming a low powerful kick to his knee, a sicking crunch sounding as she snapped it clean. Another lunged at her wielding a knife, the blade just skimming her face, but she didn't even flinch as she caught his arm, twisting it and kicking the back of his knee causing him to grunt as she slammed him into the cement.
The last wrapped his arms around her, trying to choke her but she simply pushed back, causing him to land on his back before she rolled out of his grip, punching him mercilessly until Emma's voice snapped her out.
Takemichi's friends showed up just a little too late, looking around to see that everything had already been taken care of.
"Rain! Y- you saved us!" She cried as she ran over to hug the girl who had stumbled off the boy's body. She was hurt, she was in pain, her head was pounding immensely from the blow she had taken earlier but she didn't care, not one bit. She ignored the pain and instead turned her attention back towards her friends. She was thankful Emma and the others were safe but quickly stumbled her way to Draken's side.
"You should know better than to try and fight in your condition." She said sending him a warning look. He playfully rolled his eyes at her mothering him and sighed.
"Yes mother."
"I would hit you if you weren't dying." She scolded causing a small laugh to leave his lips that hurt.
