~ Relief ~
Once the three arrived at the hospital, it took a few hours for her to get sorted.
The doctors and nurses wanted to keep Rain in overnight, but she stubbornly refused saying she would be fine, just to patch her up and send her on her way. They obviously were against this, but she told them she would leave anyway.
Stubborn girl alright.
During the time of Rain arguing with the doctors and them fussing over her, Takemichi had managed to find a charger and port to bring their phones back to life.
After a few minutes they turned on and they all blew up with missed calls and texts mostly from Mikey and Draken.
As he was about to reply, Mikey's name lit up the display of Rain's phone, startling him and almost causing him to drop it.
He was about to ask Rain if it was okay to answer, but found she had fallen asleep on Chifuyu's chest who had apparently climbed on the bed next to her. He held a finger to his lips telling him to be quiet.
Takemichi answered her phone She hadn't slept at all and after the hell she had just been through he wanted to let her get as much as possible.
As soon as he answered he heard a deep sigh of relief before Mikey's voice filled his ears.
"Rain, thank god! I-"
"It's Takemichi." The blue eyed boy said cutting him off.
Mikey froze, panicking when he heard Takemichi's voice instead of hers, he felt as if his blood had turned cold.
"Oh, T- Takemicchi? Where's Rain? I- is she okay?" He asked worriedly, his voice shaky as he swallowed hard, mentally trying to prepare himself for whatever it was he was about to hear.
"No, she's not okay-" Takemichi started to which really sent Mikey into a state of panic. All that mental planning went down the drain.
"W- what?! What do you mean she's not okay?! What happened? Is she..."
"I- I mean she's okay! She's alive and all! But just, mentally not. She's really, really messed up." He quickly assured him, and the dark eyed boy breathed a frustrated sign of relief.
"Why the hell did you lead with what you did idiot?!"
"Yeah, sorry." He said as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head with a nervous laugh.
"Where are you? I'm on my way." Mikey asked as he put his phone between his head and shoulder as he rushed to grab a jacket and his keys.
"It's okay, we will come to you. We're on our way back now." Takemichi said as Chifuyu carefully managed to get her on his back and take her out of the hospital. She was extremely light which wasn't surprising.
