~ Forgiveness ~
"Awww I remember when you two used to fall asleep cuddling when you were little!" Mrs Baji cooed as she continued to snap pictures of the two dark haired teens. Baji stirred lightly, hearing the shuddering of a camera. When he realised what was happening, his eyes widened as he launched at his mother.
"Ma! Quit taking photos of us!" The dark haired boy yelled causing Rain to wake up suddenly rubbing her eyes. She wondered what the hell was going on when she saw Baji's mother running away from her son cackling away with her phone in hand and she put two and two together.
"Don't worry, I'll send these to you like you always ask me to." She revealed and Baji went bright red at his mother outing him and covered his face as he sat at the dining table in defeat.
"Kill me now." He grunted.
A small chuckle escaped Rain's lips at their familial bond. Though they bickered all the time, she knew they loved each other more than anything and it made her think about her own family, her new one she had found, and the one she currently had.
"Mikey's blowing up your phone!" Baji announced as he took the phone to her. After Baji's words last night, she flicked her hand signaling she didn't want to answer it. He felt a sense of pride at her finally standing up for herself a little bit, and he chuckled deciding to answer it instead.
"This is my girlfriend's phone, who the hell are you?" Baji answered lowering his voice which instantly caused Rain to sit up and look at him with wide eyes. He looked at her, a chuckle leaving his lips at her embarrassed yet adorable face.
"She can't come to the phone right now, she's busy getting changed after we-"
She ran at him, but he put his hand on her head stopping her from coming closer, and this time he really couldn't stop the laughter.
"Oh chill! I'm just screwing around~ here." He said so both of them could hear as he went back to his normal voice, and she took the phone.
"Hello? Manjiro?" She answered hesitantly and she could tell by the way he was breathing that he was pissed off, though she wasn't sure why. Maybe because he was still in a fight with Draken.
"Quit messing around, meet me at Takemichy's place." He said before hanging up immediately and she bit her lip.
"Yeah, sure." She said sarcastically to no one as she hung up the phone and Baji looked at her with a raised brow.
"So what's up?" He asked casually leaning against the wall and only then did Rain realise that the tall lump of muscle was still shirtless. It didn't really cross her mind last night seeing as it was so dark, but now seeing him in the light of day?
'Oh dear, what's happening to me? I've seen him shirtless a thousand times!'
She felt her face beginning to warm and she cleared her throat before casting her gaze elsewhere, an action Baji mistook for being upset.
