~ The Black Wolf ~
"You sure about this?" Draken asked as he leaned closer to Rain who nodded confidently as she flashed him a brief smile.
"Yeah, of course." She took her shirt off leaving her in just a black sports bra. "We made a promise after all."
Draken nodded holding out his hand for support but she only looked at him amused.
"I'm not a kid." She taunted playfully as she smacked his hand away and he rolled his eyes as he waved a dismissive hand.
"Okay tough guy."
Rain was currently at the saloon getting a tattoo that would run from the base of her neck onto her upper back. This was what she and Baji had agreed to get for their 16th birthday, but due to what happened she decided to get it a year earlier. It was a representation of Baji and she felt like she needed it now.
She looked in the mirror seeing the stencil and nodded to the artist happy with it. It was a similar style to Draken's, though instead of a dragon, it was a wolf.
"I forgot you and Baji made that promise, it perfectly suits the both of you." The blonde boy said, and Rain smiled slightly.
"It was his favourite animal, mine too." She said looking in the mirror as the buzz from the gun filled her ears.
It truly was a perfect representation of them. Both had amazing instincts after all, and were protective and loyal.
"You know, you're one tough chick." The artist said as he tattooed Rains pale skin. He was the same man who had done Draken's temple tattoo years ago. "I remember how much of a wimp you were when you had your tattoo." He said looking to the blonde boy, and a loud laugh left Rain's lips while Draken blushed embarrassed.
It was a pleasure to hear her laughing like that, though he still couldn't hide his embarrassment.
"I was only a kid! Besides! The temple was a sore place to get a tattoo even you said so!" He argued as he fought the rising blush to his cheeks.
"Still." The other two said in unison, and he rolled his eyes at their mockery.
After getting tattooed, the two decided to hang out for the rest of the day. They had talked to Takemichi earlier before going to visit Baji's mother, Rain was eager to show her the tattoo. She was also planning to visit Baji's grave later on to show him as well.
It was a busy day for the two, the next activity being to grab Emma's present. Rain had already given the blonde her present earlier this morning before heading out. She didn't even get time to see Mikey.
"Do you think she'll like it?" Draken asked, and the blue eyed girl side eyed him as a small smile played on her lips.
"That girl will love anything you give her Ken, trust me." She said sincerely. He sent a small smile her way before wrapping a quick arm around her as a hug.
