Sam : Where is he?!
I chime into Elena's house, a face completely void of emotions. Stefan and Elena are standing in the hallway, looking at me in surprise.
After I got the news of what Jeremy tried to pull, drinking Anna's blood and overdosing on pills...
Stefan : I already talked to him. He-
Sam : Where is he?!
Stefan just points upstairs. I take two steps at a time, Elena and Stefan following close behind me.
I barge into Jeremy's room. He jumps up in shock when he sees I bang the door.
Jeremy : Sam, what are you-
Before he can finish his sentence, I pull him up and deliver a skull-crushing right hook to his face.
Elena : SAM, NO!
I ignore her completely and Stefan is smart enough to not do anything to stop me. He knows how pissed I am. I pull Jeremy up by the collar, not caring about the blood that comes out of his nose.
Sam : ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND?! HUH?! ANSWER ME!
He's wobbly on his feet, on the brink of passing out from my punch, but still forces some words out of his mouth.
Jeremy : I-I wanted... to be l-like you... Sam...
Sam : Be like me? Is that your lame ass excuse?
Jeremy : Y-You're strong... n-nothing can t-touch you...
Sam : You don't know me, Jer! Don't use me as your reason for trying to kill yourself!
Jeremy : A-Anna, she's dead...
Sam : I know. I was there. I saw it. It's just like I told you, Jer. Everyone who knows the truth is a dead man walking. Granted, I didn't think you'd be such a stupid idiot and try to do it yourself, but I guess Einstein was right. "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity". And you just proved it again. Jenna, Alaric, Elena, Me... you betrayed everyone who cares about you.
I let go of him and take a few steps back.
Sam : Sulk, wallow in self-pity and feel bad for yourself all you want,...
I then turn to Elena and Stefan.
Sam : ... and you two, tell him that everything is gonna be alright again, that's it's all daisies and rainbows. But Jeremy, I want you to know that with your actions today, you've got one friend less.
Jeremy : Sam, please-
Sam : Please what? WHAT? You betrayed ME, Jer. You betrayed me, Bonnie betrayed me... as far as I'm concerned, you can all go to hell. Now go back to being a weird, shut-in, little druggie... Fucking hell, Jeremy... what were you thinking?
With that said, I push past Stefan and Elena and head downstairs. Elena follows me, while Stefan stays with Jeremy to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid.
Elena : Those were some harsh words, Sam. I almost believed you.
A scoff a bit.
Sam : Because I meant every word. Well, besides that "you lost yourself a friend" part. Tough love, that's how I'd call it. The little prick has to understand that his actions have an effect on others.
Elena : You know, I really like this whole 'good guy, bad guy' thing you and Stefan got going on.
Sam : It's not an act, it's just that I am mean and Stefan is not.
