We're in the parlor. Caroline is sitting on the couch while Damon, very un-Damon-like, gives her a glass of blood. I lean against the couch, my arms crossed in front of my chest.
Damon: Here.
Caroline: I'm still shaking.
She drinks. Then, Stefan arrives.
Stefan: What happened?
Damon: Go ahead, tell him. You're gonna love this.
I just shake my head. Problems, problems, problems. And we ain't got a damn solution to even one of those.
Caroline: I saw Katherine today.
Stefan: Where?
Caroline: At the Grill. I just stopped by to gawk and...quasi-stalk Matt.
Basically, Katherine threatened to create a bloodbath at the masquerade today if we don't give her the moonstone.
Stefan: She wants to do it in public. Killing Mason threw her off guard.
Damon: She's running scared. What she did to Jenna was desperate. She's out of tricks.
Sam : Even if that's true, we can't risk half the town dying because a bitch is desperate.
Stefan: Sam is right. We can't underestimate her. We have to play this smarter than her.
Caroline: Can we just give her the moonstone so she'll leave?
Damon: No, Katherine's not getting dick. I've had it. I'm gonna go to the masquerade ball and I'm gonna kill her, tonight.
Stefan: You're not gonna kill her.
I roll my eyes.
Damon: Don't give me that goody-goody crap.
Stefan: You're not gonna kill her.
Damon: Really?
Stefan: Because I am.
Sam : Not if I kill her first.
Now that's the kind of brotherly bonding I'm taking about.

The house got quite full very fast. Alaric came over with a whole bunch of weapons, Caroline just let Bonnie in, who went home to get her grimoire and Jeremy texted me he's on his way. A cute, little murder-party, all in all.
I walk past everyone else and throw my weapons on the table next to Ric's.
Damon : What do we got here?
Sam : Half a dozen stakes, smoke grenades, vervain- and wolfsbane bombs, a crossbow, bolts with the tips dipped in vervain, trap wire, ropes, chains, a bunch of guns, wood-bullets and a few other things.
Alaric and Damon look at me in surprise.
Sam : Guys, I was a hunter legend before I became a vampire. Don't look so surprised, it's an insult.
Bonnie sees Damon, me and Alaric talking and she sees that there are a lot a weapon on the table. Like... a lot!
Bonnie: What's going on?
That's when Jeremy arrives.
Jeremy: We're gonna kill Katherine.
Stefan: I can explain.
Bonnie: Please.
Stefan: ... We're gonna kill Katherine.
Alaric shows the weapons to everybody.
